Following the Flag Ceremony, the personnel gathered for a salo-salo, fostering camaraderie, cultural appreciation, and a shared sense of community. The celebration reflected the DMMMSU Open University System's commitment to its mantra, โ€œProviding More Opportunities,โ€ by promoting inclusivity, unity, and meaningful engagement among its personnel and stakeholders.

The wearing of prescribed school uniforms for students will resume tomorrow, August 24, 2026 (Monday).

Meanwhile, faculty members and nonteaching personnel are enjoined to wear appropriate national attire representing ASEAN member countries in observance of the Universityโ€™s ASEAN-related activities.

The flag-raising ceremony will also be held simultaneously across all Operating Units of the University.

Everyone is encouraged to remain updated on prevailing weather conditions and closely monitor official University channels for any subsequent advisories or announcements.

DMMMSU invites the entire university community to celebrate the ASEAN Festival 2026 on Monday, August 24, 2026, under the theme โ€œNavigating our Future, Together.โ€

Respective campuses and operating units will hold dedicated programs and activities for the occasion. All students, faculty members, and staff are encouraged to wear appropriate ASEAN national attire for the day and participate with the activities.
