In view of the prevailing weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), further enhanced by Typhoon Obet, and the flooding reported in several schools, face-to-face classes in all levels, public and private schools, in the Municipality of Umingan are hereby suspended on 25 August 2026 (Tuesday).

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Ipinababatid sa publiko na suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Umingan ngayong Lunes, Agosto 17, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na epekto ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Sa kabila nito, pinapayuhan ang mga paaralan na ipatupad ang alternative learning methods upang maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral ng mga mag-aaral mula sa kani-kanilang tahanan.

Hinihiling sa mga mag-aaral, magulang, g**o, at school personnel na manatiling ligtas, maingat, at updated sa mga opisyal na abiso hinggil sa sitwasyon.
