ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.

San Pablo Elementary School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Safety Drill for Active Attack Incident on September 3, 2026, strengthening the awareness, readiness, and safety of our learners and personnel.

Through this activity, we continue to promote a culture of preparedness, alertness, and collective responsibility. Every drill is an opportunity to learn what to do, stay calm, and protect one another during emergencies.

📢 NOTICE | CLASS SUSPENSION

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 133, and due to the ongoing inclement weather, classes in all levels of public and private schools in Umingan are suspended as a precaution and to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel.

Meanwhile, the Local Government Unit of Umingan will continue to provide essential services under a skeletal workforce arrangement.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐄: Ipatutupad ang alternative learning modes sa lahat ng antas (public at private schools).

𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐎 𝐒𝐀 𝐆𝐎𝐁𝐘𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐎: Ipatutupad ang alternative work arrangements sa mga opisina, maliban sa mga ahensyang nagbibigay ng serbisyong pangkalusugan, emergency, at disaster response.

𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐎: Ang suspensyon ng trabaho o pagpapatupad ng alternative work arrangements ay nasa desisyon na ng management ng bawat kumpanya.

Ipinababatid sa publiko na suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Umingan ngayong Lunes, Agosto 17, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na epekto ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Sa kabila nito, pinapayuhan ang mga paaralan na ipatupad ang alternative learning methods upang maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral ng mga mag-aaral mula sa kani-kanilang tahanan.

Hinihiling sa mga mag-aaral, magulang, g**o, at school personnel na manatiling ligtas, maingat, at updated sa mga opisyal na abiso hinggil sa sitwasyon.
