UNSHS Barkada Kontra Droga 2023-2024

𝙅𝙐𝙎𝙏 𝙉𝙊𝙒 | On March 1, 2024, a 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 took place at Ubay National Science High School's covered court, with Grade 12 and Grade 10 students listening. The symposium started with Mr. Edwin Abay-Abay discussing about gender and development. Following this, a drug awareness campaign was delivered by PSSG 𝙹𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝙳𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚍 𝙴𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚜 alongside Police Major ʀᴏᴍᴀʀ ᴛᴜᴘᴘᴀʟ ʟᴀʙᴀꜱʙᴀꜱ. 💊💉

On behalf of the UNSHS BKD Club, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this symposium a success. We deeply appreciate the unwavering guidance of our adviser, Sir Pio Quilaton. Special thanks also goes to Ma'am Marlou P. Flor for allowing us to participate and for her continuous support to our club. Moreover, we are grateful to Ma'am Rosalinda G. Butcon and Ma'am Chona Ricacho for granting us the permission to organize this initiative. We also acknowledge and thank the PNP Ubay, led by Police Major ʀᴏᴍᴀʀ ᴛᴜᴘᴘᴀʟ ʟᴀʙᴀꜱʙᴀꜱ, for accepting our invitation, especially to Mrs. Jacky Rosales and Mr. Cabarubias who served as our contact persons. Lastly, we express our gratitude to our esteemed speakers; the knowledge they imparted will undoubtedly benefit our students in their daily lives. 🤍🎉
