Sa umaabot nga pag-abli sa laing tu-ig sa pag-eskwela karong June 16, 2025 ilunsad sa tibuok Pilipinas ang Brigada Eskwela nga dunay tema nga, "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa". Tungod niini ang Union National High School -Deped Bohol Region 7 mopahigayon usab sa maong kalihukan, Briagada Eskwela karong June 9 - 13, 2025 (Lunes - Biyernes). Atol niini nga programa, gi-awhag ang mga ginikanan, estudyante, magtutudlo, ug ubang mga indibidwal nga makig-alayon sa pagahimu-on nga pagpangandam sa pagbukas sa klase. Hinaot nga andam ug tagana kamo nga motabang aron mahiluna ang pag-abli sa klase. Sa June 9 - 13, 2025 mao usab ang mga adlaw nga gihatag aron magpa-enroll ang mga bata.

Union National High School Shines in Ubay 2 District 2025 Talents Quest

March 1, 2025 – The Ubay 2 District successfully held the anticipated 2025 Talents Quest at Biabas Trade High School, bringing together five secondary schools to compete in various talent and skill-based events. With the theme "Scouts for a Peaceful and Greener World," the event aimed to highlight the abilities of young scouts while promoting environmental and peace advocacy.

The competition saw participation from Biabas Trade High School, Union National High School, Cagting High School, Tipolo National High School, and Tintinan Integrated School. The event featured categories for both Senior Scouts and Rover & Roverettes, with challenges such as Vocal Duet, Poster Making, Oration, and Fancy Drill for Seniors, while Speech Choir, Balitaw, and Mural Painting were among the highlights for the Rovers.

Union National High School showcased remarkable performances in multiple categories, securing top awards. The school participated in Poster Making, Oration, Balitaw, and Mural Painting competitions. Demonstrating their exceptional talent and preparation, they emerged victorious in three events:
🏆 1st Place – Balitaw (Shovy Ranollo and Ariel Morales)
🏆 1st Place – Oration (Dioneilo Gallego)
🏆 1st Place – Mural Painting (Christian John Cutamora, Romulo Boquiren III, Wenalyn Magalona, Fella Mae Pogoy)
🥉 3rd Place – Poster Making (Jeff Reyes)

The outstanding performance of the students was made possible through the dedicated guidance of their coaches: Floramie Rosales (Mural Painting), Jeson Felisilda (Oration), Rizaldy Torrevillas (Balitaw), & Charlito Boiser (Poster Making).

The success of the event was also credited to the efforts of the BSP Coordinators, Ramero Clarito and Floramie Rosales, who played a vital role in organizing and supporting the participants. The Ubay 2 District 2025 Talents Quest not only fostered friendly competition but also reinforced the values of teamwork, creativity, and leadership among the young scouts.

With the resounding success of this year’s event, the district looks forward to more opportunities to nurture and showcase the talents of its students in the future.

Union National High School Celebrates 33rd Foundation

February 15, 2025 – Union National High School marked its 33rd Foundation Day with a grand celebration under the theme "Celebrating Diversity and Unity." The event took place within the school grounds, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and local officials in a day filled with excitement and camaraderie.

The festivities began with a vibrant parade, led by the UNHS Drum Corps, featuring students from Grades 7 to 12, along with their advisers and teachers. The formal program commenced with the singing of hymns by Ms. Gina Añora, followed by an invocation led by Mrs. Jocelyn Artiaga. PTA President Jonebern Meyor or His Representative delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of the school's milestone. School OIC Mrs. Rochelle B. Impang provided a brief history of Union National High School, tracing its growth over the past three decades. An opening salvo by student interns and performers energized the audience, leading to a mass dance presentation featuring students from all grade levels. SSLG President Bea Quinlog then took the stage to announce the various activities planned for the day, before the program was formally closed by emcees Ms. Danica Salise and Ms. Gracely Zapanta.

Following the opening program, the school hosted a booth display, showcasing the creativity and talents of students across different disciplines. The event was successfully organized and led by the MAPEH teachers, with strong support from teacher advisers, relieving teachers, student interns and school staff.

The success of the event was further ensured by the active participation of PTA officials, Barangay officials of Union, and Barangay police, who helped facilitate order during the parade and throughout the program. The combined efforts of the entire school community and local stakeholders made the celebration a resounding success.

The 33rd Foundation Day of Union National High School was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering unity, culture, and excellence. With the unwavering support of its students, faculty, and community, the institution continues to thrive and inspire future generations.
