From energy-giving foods to body-building and protective foods, each exhibit reflected the importance of balanced nutrition while showcasing the learners' creativity and teamwork.

As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration 2026, with the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!” and the sub-theme “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, our Non-Teaching Personnel, led by our School Principal - Doc Maricel D. Mercado, prepared a Healthy Family Meal. This meaningful activity highlighted the importance of eating nutritious food together and strengthening the spirit of unity and family.

Launching of Nutrition Month 2026

Last July 6, 2026, during the Monday Flag Ceremony, Jose Lopez Manzano National High School officially launched the Nutrition Month Celebration through the leadership of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department, headed by Dr. Roselle B. Rivera, Head Teacher II.

Carrying this year's theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutriyong Sapat para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," the launching served as a reminder that achieving proper nutrition and protecting our environment are shared responsibilities that require the participation of the entire school community.

Together for Better Nutrition and a Greener Future!

In preparation for this year's Nutrition Month Celebration, the TLE Department, together with the Grade Level Chief Advisers, convened for a collaborative planning meeting to discuss and finalize the lineup of activities that will inspire learners to embrace healthy eating habits while promoting environmental stewardship.

Anchored on the 2026 Nutrition Month theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutriyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," the meeting highlighted the importance of collective action in ensuring proper nutrition and caring for our environment. Through careful planning and teamwork, the department aims to conduct meaningful, engaging, and impactful activities that will foster health consciousness, sustainability, and active participation among the entire school community.

Together, we continue to cultivate not only knowledgeable learners but also healthy, responsible, and environmentally conscious citizens.
