The long-awaited General Assembly Meeting (GAM) of the Social Studies community has successfully come to an end, bringing together students from different year levels for a meaningful gathering centered on unity, collaboration, and shared purpose.
The assembly provided an avenue to discuss important plans, programs, and activities for the academic year while giving students an opportunity to listen, participate, and share their perspectives. More than just a meeting, the GAM became a moment to strengthen the connection among members of the Social Studies community.
As our FSSTA adviser, ma'am Nikka C. Catahum shared, โAll of us should be responsible individuals with our institution because all of us are expected to serve the organization.โ The words served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of active participation, responsibility, and unity in building a stronger Social Studies community.
Reflecting on the responsibility that comes with a new administration, our FSSTA , Ms. April Wendie P. Jacinto, reminded the Social Studies community, โThe previous administration has written its own chapter in the history of FSSTA. Today, we are given the opportunity to write ours. May we write it with purpose, integrity, and service.โ Her message highlights the importance of making the new chapter of FSSTA one that is guided by meaningful leadership, integrity, and genuine service.
And just like that, the much-awaited GAM has successfully come to its closed. With new insights, shared ideas, and meaningful moments, the Social Studies community is now ready to take on another year together.
