The Civil Engineering community of the South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. (SEAIT) marks a significant milestone as it officially receives recognition as the 250th Student Chapter of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE).
Through an official email confirmation received on August 17, 2026 from the PICE National Student Membership Official Email, the application of the PICEโSouth East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. Student Chapter (PICE-SEAIT SC) was officially approved dated July 17, 2026 under the PICE South Cotabato Chapter.
This achievement represents an important development for the Civil Engineering students of SEAIT and opens a new opportunity for greater engagement with the professional community of civil engineers. The recognition as an official PICE Student Chapter affirms the commitment of SEAIT's Civil Engineering students toward academic excellence, professional development, leadership, and service.
The organization extends its sincere appreciation to the South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. (SEAIT) for its unwavering support and assistance throughout the application and recognition process. This milestone would not have been possible without the institution's continued trust and support for the growth and development of its Civil Engineering students.
Special recognition is likewise extended to the Civil Engineering Department Faculty, headed by Dean Clar Don L. Evangelio, MeqEng., for their guidance, encouragement, and commitment to developing competent and future-ready civil engineering professionals.
The milestone also recognizes the efforts of the ACES Officers Batch 2025โ2026, whose dedication and collective work contributed to the realization of this significant achievement, under the guidance of their Adviser, Engr. Rimar C. Liguan.
As preparations move forward for the formal establishment and future activities of the PICE-SEAIT Student Chapter, this recognition stands as a testament to the collective efforts of the institution, faculty, advisers, student leaders, and Civil Engineering students who share the vision of strengthening the SEAIT Civil Engineering community.
