Congratulations to Mrs. Melvie Mabbonag, BES TLE Area Head, for successfully presenting her research paper during the 7th Philippine Organization of Technology and Technology Education (POTTE) National Convention 2025 held on December 6, 2025 at Surigao del Norte State University.

Mrs. Mabbonag showcased her study before educators, researchers, and practitioners from across the country, contributing valuable insights to the field of Technology and Livelihood Education. Her participation highlighted the continuing commitment of the school to research excellence and professional growth.

The 7th POTTE National Convention gathered experts and education leaders to discuss current trends, innovations, and best practices in technology and technical education. Mrs. Mabbonag’s presentation stands as a testament to her dedication and the school’s support in advancing research culture.

The Basic Education School proudly congratulates Ma’am Melvie Mabbonag, TLE Area Head, for her successful presentation at the Bahandi Research and Multidisciplinary Conference. Her research paper on the technical competencies and academic performance of Junior High School students in Technical and Livelihood Education (TLE) offers insights that support improved teaching practices and student outcomes.

The study contributes meaningfully to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting strengthened skills development and equitable learning opportunities.

This national congress serves as a platform for teachers, students, and researchers in basic education to showcase their scholarly works, share innovative practices, and promote research-driven initiatives that advance education and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Basic Education School continues to uphold its strong commitment to research excellence as Mr. Jomel M. Mabborang, Center for Basic Education Research Head, together with his research advisees, successfully published their research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal.

The published study has been indexed in Google Scholar and the Philippine E-Journals, affirming its quality and contribution to the growing body of research. This achievement highlights the active involvement of the Basic Education Department in global academic discourse and its dedication to mentoring young researchers toward scholarly distinction.
