The Management Information System (MIS) Office proudly announces the successful implementation of the new and improved iVote v2, a web-based digital voting system developed by Mr. Kevin L. Cabauatan.
Launched on ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, the system was first utilized during the ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐น ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ, providing a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly voting experience for students.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Office of Cagayan State University successfully conducted a ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐-๐ช๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฆ๐จ ๐๐ข๐๐ฆ (๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ) on April 8, 2026, marking another milestone in the universityโs digital transformation initiatives.
CSU DOCS was introduced as a centralized and secure document management platform designed to address existing challenges in document handling across the university, such as fragmented storage, unstructured communication channels, slow document retrieval, and limited access control.
During the program, participants were oriented on how CSU DOCS streamlines document workflows from ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐น, ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฏ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ผ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ensuring that official documents are systematically managed and easily retrievable across campuses.
A key highlight of the activity was the live system demonstration conducted by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐ต๐ป ๐ข๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐. ๐๐๐ด๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ, ๐๐๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ, who provided a comprehensive walkthrough of the platform. The demonstration covered essential features such as:
โข Secure login using CSU email
โข Document uploading with metadata and control numbers
โข Configurable access levels (public, campus, office, custom, private)
โข Advanced search and filtering capabilities
โข User and records management
โข Reports and analytics for monitoring document activities
The system also introduces defined user roles, including System Administrator, University Records Officer, Campus Records Officer, and general employees, ensuring proper governance and accountability in document handling across all CSU campuses.
With CSU DOCS, the university is expected to benefit from:

โข Improved data security and governance
โข Reduced reliance on email attachments and chat-based file sharing

The Management Information System (MIS) Office conducted a demonstration of the newly developed Queueing System, scheduled for official launch next week, and to be used initially for beta implementation at Andrews Campus. The activity served as a soft launch of the system and was carried out in coordination with the Registrarโs Office, which will be the primary pilot office for the rollout.
The demonstration was led by the MIS Team together with Mr. John Omar S. Esguerra, Lead Developer of the project. During the session, the team presented the systemโs current features, demonstrated its proper usage, and discussed how the platform will improve transaction flow and service efficiency.
An exchange of feedback followed, allowing Registrarโs Office personnel to share observations and recommendations to further refine the system before its full deployment.
This beta implementation marks another step in CSUโs ongoing digital transformation initiatives, aimed at delivering efficient, streamlined, and technology-driven services across university campuses.

On January 14, 2026, the Management Information System (MIS) Office conducted a system presentation of the Hotel Management System (HMS) to the Hotel Administration and staff at the Smart Conference Room, Andrews Campus. The activity was held in coordination with the newly appointed Hotel Administrator, Ms. Mae Angelica Acacio-Sinco, as part of the universityโs continuing efforts to strengthen digital solutions for campus services.
The HMS is a web-based system developed by the MIS Office to streamline hotel operations, including room reservations, walk-in bookings, and food and room service requests. Through a centralized platform, the system enables real-time monitoring of transactions, improves coordination among hotel personnel, and supports more efficient and responsive service delivery for hotel guests.
During the presentation, the MIS Office discussed the system architecture, operational workflows, and key features designed to support daily hotel operations. A live demonstration of the systemโs functionalities was presented by Junior Programmer Kevin L. Cabauatan, allowing hotel staff to better understand its practical application and benefits.
Following the presentation, the Hotel Management System was confirmed to be ready for deployment, marking an important milestone in the universityโs digital transformation initiatives and its commitment to improving service quality through technology.
