Happy birthday to our Governor, Michael Edward Tibule! As the one leading the SHAS student body, we hope you continue to bring your energy, ideas, and heart into everything you do. May you always be open to different people, different stories, and different lines of the moment. Last September 1, 2026, the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao โ€“ Community Engagement and Christian Advocacy (USLT-CECA) continued its advocacy through a Blood Donation Drive held at NSL 1, Lecaros Campus.

Spearheaded by the USLT CECA, The School of Health and Allied Sciences (SHAS) Council, together with the different SHAS organizations, was honored to actively participate in this meaningful initiative. Through our collective presence and support, we joined the university community in promoting the value of voluntary blood donation and the spirit of selfless service.

Every donor who gave their time and blood became part of something greaterโ€”a collective effort that may provide hope and help to someone in need. This experience reminds us that service is not measured by how grand an act may be, but by the lives we are willing to touch through it. This is in alignment with Project Kaagapay and CECA Ready!

To keep the SHAS Student Council running smoothly during the Governorโ€™s temporary absence, CHARMEL P. TAMAYO, SHAS Council Associate Secretary, is assigned as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) from September 10โ€“12, 2026.

As OIC, she will handle the Councilโ€™s daily matters, manage needed communications, and attend to important concerns that need action.
