A new chapter begins as we warmly welcome our new batch of interns from Cagayan State University โ€“ Carig Campus, Bachelor of Library and Information Science on September 14, 2026.

Their first day began with a warm welcome and a brief orientation on the UCV Library System and its services, led by the As they visited each floor, the assigned library staff provided a brief orientation on the services, resources, and facilities available in each section, giving the interns a better understanding of what each floor has to offer. This also allowed them to become familiar with the different library spaces where they will be learning and gaining hands-on experience throughout their On-the-Job Training (OJT).

The UCV Library System looks forward to being part of their journey as these future librarians gain meaningful experiences, valuable lessons, new friendships and a deeper appreciation for the profession they have chosen.

Welcome to UCV Library System, future librarians!

As we start another week, let us take a moment to appreciate the little things that bring us together. With our Founding Anniversary approaching, every moment spent in classes, activities, conversations and shared experiences becomes part of a bigger story of growth, unity and a community that continues to move forward together.

May this Monday remind us that celebrations are not only about milestones but also about the people, memories and the meaningful moments that make the journey worthwhile.
