CIT Strengthens Global Engagement Through UTM Exchange Program

Cagayan State University, CARIG CAMPUS — The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) strengthens its internationalization efforts through the participation of Ms. Raui Frezette A. Calubong, a fourth-year Fashion and Apparel Technology student from CSU Carig Campus, in the Exchange Program on Multidisciplinary and SDG-Oriented Research and Development at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on August 16–21, 2026.

Calubong is among the 23 CSU delegates—five faculty members and 18 students—participating in the program spearheaded through the Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization (IPRM) Office.

Her participation will provide valuable international exposure in sustainable practices, innovation, research, and technology. The experience is expected to broaden her global perspective, strengthen her academic and professional competencies, and introduce new ideas that may benefit the CIT community.

The initiative reflects CIT’s commitment to developing globally competitive students, strengthening international partnerships, and promoting knowledge exchange. Through opportunities such as this, international experiences can be translated into learning, collaboration, and innovation within the College.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝘃𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹-𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, faculty member of the College of Industrial Technology (CIT), has earned national recognition for her outstanding contributions to the field of Home Economics during the PATHESCU National activities.

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges - College of Technological and Developmental Education (CSPC-CTDE) Benchmarking Visit

On March 6, 2025, the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) had the privilege of welcoming the esteemed faculty members from CSPC-CTDE for a valuable benchmarking visit.

College QAA Coordinator Delilah O. Ballad delivered an insightful presentation on the college’s best practices, along with key documentation supporting its Level III Program Accreditation.

Following the presentation, the CIT faculty guided the delegates through the college’s cutting-edge laboratories, offering them a closer look at the innovative practices and facilities that contribute to the institution’s excellence.
