On December 14, we celebrate the Feast of St. John of the Cross, the saint whose name our section proudly bears. A Carmelite reformer, mystic, and Doctor of the Church, St. John of the Cross is best known for his profound writings, such as The Dark Night of the Soul and The Ascent of Mount Carmel, which guide us in finding God’s light through life’s darkest moments. His life was a testament to his faith, enduring persecution and hardship with humility, and trust in God’s plan.

As students, may we draw inspiration from his teachings, embracing challenges as steps toward growth and deeper faith. Let us carry his message of hope, perseverance, and love in our hearts as we navigate our own journeys. St. John of the Cross, pray for us and light our path toward God’s eternal truth.
