The journey of the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗧𝗚) 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 continues as we make our way to 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝗦𝗨) for another space where young leaders can connect, learn, and engage in conversations that matter.

With the theme, “𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲,” 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗧𝗔𝗪𝗜𝗗 highlights the role of the youth in building bridges between ideas and action, leadership and service, and the present and the future of governance.

This next leg brings 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗧𝗔𝗪𝗜𝗗: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 to the student community of Cagayan, bringing young people together for meaningful conversations on 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

As the Caravan continues its journey across the country, 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗧𝗔𝗪𝗜𝗗 creates another space for young leaders to exchange ideas, engage in dialogue, and reflect on their role in shaping the future of governance.

𝐎𝐒𝐃𝐖 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐔𝐒𝐂𝐅 𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

On September 11, 2026, Dr. Loraine S. Tattao, OSDW Director, together with the OSDW Coordinators from the different campuses of Cagayan State University, attended the 3rd Quarter Regular Meeting of the University Student Council Federation (USCF).

The meeting served as a meaningful avenue for collaboration, coordination, and discussion of matters concerning student development, welfare, and support services across the University.

The OSDW extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Froilan Pacris, Campus Executive Officer of CSU Gonzaga, for warmly accommodating and welcoming the OSDW team and the USCF, and to Prof. Jamaica Figueras, OSDW Coordinator of Gonzaga Campus, for her valuable support and assistance in the successful conduct of the meeting.

Through continued collaboration and teamwork, CSU remains committed to strengthening responsive, inclusive, and student-centered services for the entire CSU community.

𝗢𝗦𝗗𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗦 𝟑𝗥𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘

The Office of Student Development and Welfare (OSDW) successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 3, 2026, spearheaded by Dr. Loraine S. Tattao, OSDW Director.

The meeting commenced with the opening remarks of Dr. Tattao, who emphasized the importance of collaboration, commitment, and unity in effectively implementing the office's programs and services for the holistic welfare and development of CSU students.

The meeting was graced by the presence of Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, OIC President, who shared his message and expressed his full support for the OSDW in its continuous efforts toward the betterment of Cagayan State University and its students. He underscored the importance of proper coordination with the concerned offices regarding invitations and engagements from various government and partner agencies, ensuring the safety and welfare of students, and fostering unity within the academic institution.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, reminded the OSDW Coordinators to remain open, approachable, and responsive to the needs of students. She emphasized that OSDW should serve as an avenue where students can be heard and supported, and that its presence and services should be genuinely felt across all CSU campuses.

She further highlighted that the students are the very reason for the existence of the CSU, serving as a constant reminder of the importance of faithfully carrying out its functions and responsibilities.

Among the major agenda discussed were updates and guidelines on the Kuya Win Scholarship Program, the Catch-Up Plan for PeerBarkada in CSU, the implementation and monitoring of student activities, scholarship updates, and other relevant matters concerning the effective delivery of student development and welfare services.

Together, the OSDW continues to strengthen its commitment to providing responsive, student-centered, and meaningful services for the CSU community.
