CNHS-JHS SPTA: Showcasing Teamwork, Collaboration, and Commitment to Learners

In line with the Division Memorandum on the Monitoring of School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Accomplishments for SY 2025–2026, the onsite evaluation for Cagayan National High School – Junior High School (CNHS-JHS) was successfully conducted on April 22, 2026.

The evaluation team, headed by SGOD Chief Gina Durian, assessed the functionality of the SPTA in adherence to DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2022 and other relevant issuances.

With strong leadership, the SPTA officers, led by President Manrico De Leon II, together with Consultant/Principal Eduardo Dela Rosa, proudly presented the different projects and accomplishments of the association. The SPTA showcased not only the positive outcomes of programs but also the collaboration and teamwork that drive the association’s success in spearheading projects and supporting school initiatives and learners.

The SPTA family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the SDO Tuguegarao evaluation team, the CNHS administration and faculty, and the parents of CNHS-JHS learners whose unwavering support and partnership made this successful evaluation possible, manifesting its commitment to be recognized as the best functional and impactful SPTA in the division and proudly standing as a true Builder of Countless Achievers!

The CNHS-JHS School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) extends its support to our CNHS-JHS delegates who will compete in the upcoming CAVRAA 2026, to be held in Santiago City on April 12–16, 2026.

The financial assistance has been officially entrusted to our school cashier, Ms. Belinda Fulgar-Callo, to help ensure that our student-athletes are well-prepared and supported as they represent CNHS with pride and excellence.

The SPTA officers, led by President Manrico H. De Leon II, reaffirm their commitment to stand behind our learners in their journey of sportsmanship, discipline, and character.

Activity Highlight: EOSY Thanksgiving & Culminating Fellowship Program

The SPTA of CNHS–JHS joyfully brought together our dedicated educators this morning for the "EOSY Thanksgiving & Culminating Fellowship Program cm Turnover Ceremony of Batch 2000 Comfort Room Renovation Project" at the CNHS–JHS Conference Hall, Tuguegarao City.

Under the inspiring theme, "Honoring Teachers, Strengthening Partnerships: Celebrating CNHS–JHS Educators as Builders of Competent and Character-Driven Filipino Achievers,” our teachers, parents, and community members shared a morning of gratitude, recognition, and camaraderie.

The program began with the Turnover Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting of the newly renovated Batch 2000 CR, graced by alumnae from Batch 2000, Jacqueline Navarrete Crisologo and Genevieve Narag Maribbay, officially marking the handover of the facility to CNHS–JHS.

Adding a spiritual touch, the New Testament Christian Ministry (NTCS) Worship Team led everyone in uplifting songs, and Pastor Pablo “Jojo” Julian served as the guest and inspirational speaker, inspiring the educators to continue their vital mission of shaping learners with competence and character.

In a first-of-its-kind EOSY fellowship and recognition program led by SPTA Pres. Manrico De Leon II, the Outstanding SPTA Supporters were acknowledged for their unwavering support, highlighting the crucial partnership between teachers and parents. The celebration also featured the giving away of CNHS–SPTA merchandise, including umbrellas, mugs, caps, and vitamins generously provided by SPTA and Marantha Trading, adding a fun and memorable touch to the event.

CNHS-JHS Principal Eduardo Dela Rosa also awarded a certificate of appreciation to the officers of the SPTA SY 2025-2026.

Throughout the fellowship, educators were celebrated for their dedication in shaping countless competent and character-driven learners. The morning was filled with appreciation, joyful interactions, and memorable moments that strengthened the bond within our school community.

SPTA Supports Teachers with Essential Resources

The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) of Cagayan National High School-Junior High, led by President Manrico De Leon, recently donated ten (10) printers to various school offices and departments. This initiative aims to support the school’s operational and instructional needs, especially as teachers prepare for the upcoming end-of-school-year requirements and activities.

The donated printers will greatly assist the teachers in preparing and printing important school forms and teaching-learning materials, ensuring smooth and efficient academic operations. The units were formally turned over to the respective department heads and unit heads in a brief ceremony.

Principal IV Eduardo C. Dela Rosa expressed heartfelt gratitude to the SPTA for its continued support, emphasizing that strong collaboration between the school and its stakeholders is key to promoting quality education and efficient services for the entire school community.

Moving forward, the SPTA assures that it will always find ways to support the school, ensuring that both teachers and learners have the tools they need to succeed.

“Equipping Teachers, Empowering Learning.”

The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) of Cagayan National High School – Junior High School officially launched Project NAPIYA (Nurturing Active Parents’ Involvement in the Youths’ Academics) as one of its flagship projects for SY 2025–2026.

The launching was witnessed by the CNHS community during their Monday Flag Rites Ceremony, marking a meaningful step in strengthening support systems for learners facing financial challenges.

Seventeen (17) learners compose the first group of NAPIYA scholars, with twelve (12) sponsored by the SPTA. Each beneficiary will receive ₱500 monthly for ten (10) months to help supplement the financial support provided by their families and assist them in continuing their studies.

SPTA President Manrico De Leon expressed hope that the number of beneficiaries will continue to grow through the generosity and support of parents, partners, and other stakeholders who share the vision of helping learners succeed.

Prior to the official launching, the initiative was formally strengthened during the SPTA meeting with Principal IV Sir Eduardo Dela Rosa, where the body unanimously decided to adopt and institutionalize Project NAPIYA which was initiated by Mrs. Jenifer Oliquiano, a Master Teacher and SPTA Officer, as a sustained program that champions students’ welfare and academic success.

Through collaboration between the school, parents, and the community, Project NAPIYA stands as a testament that when families and schools work together, more opportunities can be opened for every learner.

This is Project NAPIYA: Nurturing hope, empowering learners, and investing in the future.

We are delighted to welcome Sir Eduardo Dela Rosa as the new Principal and SPTA Consultant of CNHS-JHS. Having served our school as a dedicated teacher and Head Teacher of the Science Department, Sir Edu brings with him a wealth of experience, deep understanding of our learners’ needs, and a strong commitment to excellence in education.

The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) is excited to continue working with him in fostering programs and projects that support the growth and development of our learners, strengthen partnerships with parents, and enhance the overall success of CNHS-JHS.
