CSU JOINS TAIWAN EDUCATION FAIR

CLARK, Pampanga — Cagayan State University joined the 2026 Taiwan INTENSE Program Education Fair on September 10 at the SMX Convention Center Clark, exploring partnerships with Taiwanese universities in academics, research and development, mobility and cultural exchange.

The CSU delegation composed of campus IPRM and ARPS directors and coordinators, was led by Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership and Resource Mobilization Dr. Ana Marie Cristina C. Cauilan.

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Minister Mr. Dustin Yang encouraged Filipino graduates to pursue further studies in Taiwan and called for continued investment in strengthening Taiwan-Philippines relations.

CHED International Affairs Service Director Dr. Christine Nabor-Ferrer emphasized stronger people-to-people and institutional ties, noting that the activity supports the Philippines-Taiwan Joint Action Plan 2026–2030, particularly in transnational higher education, semiconductors and electronics, mobility and microcredentials.

The fair also enabled CSU to connect with prospective Taiwanese university partners for academic and R&D collaboration, student and faculty mobility and cultural programs.

Organized by the Taiwan International Talent Circulation (INTACT) Base–Philippines, the event was co-hosted by Kun Shan University, National Chung Hsing University, Cheng Shiu University and Bulacan State University.
