Vargas College, Inc., in partnership with NSTP, proudly held 'Araw ng mga Puso para sa mga Katutubo' — a meaningful community project on February 14, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Bugatay, Peñablanca, Cagayan. This Valentine’s Day initiative was dedicated to uplifting the Aeta community, bringing together volunteers to extend support, foster connection, and honor the rich heritage of our indigenous brothers and sisters.

The newly elected officers of National Service Training Program-CWTS of F.L. Vargas College Inc. for the Academic Year 2025-2026 were formally inducted into their positions during a special ceremony. The afternoon began with a solemn mass at one o’clock, setting the tone for a meaningful celebration, with the grace of our Lord.

Taking the Oath of Commitment, the Student Leaders together with the other departmental college leaders, hands raised, they pledged to uphold their duties with integrity, responsibility, and dedication.

Held on August 5,2025, the orientation welcomed all enrolled students under the National Service Training Program (NSTP).

✅ Expected student responsibilities
✅ Elections of NSTP-CWTS officers

NSTP-CWTS students successfully installed solar lights and made 2 study tables for the children of the Aeta community of Bugatay, Peñablanca. With the guidance of the Barangay Kagawad, students were able to locate the spots to install the solar lights.

On December 14, 2024, the NSTP-CWTS of F.L. Vargas College held an unforgettable year-end party for our kababayang Aetas, made possible through the support of Brgy. Captain Hon. Wilma Baccay of Brgy. Bugatay. We extend our sincere gratitude for providing the venue and facilitating connections with the Aeta communities in Bugatay.

On behalf of F.L. Vargas College, we also wish to acknowledge our generous sponsors. To Vice Governor Hon. Boy K. Vargas, thank you for your invaluable donation; even in your absence, your support was deeply felt. To Ms. Celine Pelagio, we are grateful for representing Vice Governor Vargas and for the thoughtful gifts you shared with the children of Bugatay.
