The Exit Conference for the Bachelor of Science in Psychology interns was held at the Office of the Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization. Student interns Vince Shinneth F. Dizon, Yeeshen Acebedo, and Desiree S. Bueno successfully completed their 250 hours of On-the-Job Training, which started on July 1 and concluded on August 15, 2024.
During their internship, they participated in IPRM initiatives, including the PATHESCU Annual Conference, the Post-Conference for AUS-NUS and UiTM Exchange Programs, MOU Signing with Warmadewa University, and the Youth Futures Exchange Program & Lecture Series.
Dr. Giged T. Battung, Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization applauded the interns for their commendable performance and provided guidance on their future careers.

Visiting students and faculty from UMSU and UITM, Malaysia, and Warmadewa University, Indonesia participated on their featured activity on the call of SDG 13 Climate Change, E-trike Tour and SDG 15 Life on Land, Tree Planting Activity at CSU - Carig Campus.
The Team was headed by VP Giged Tong-Battung, Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership and Resource Mobilization, Assoc. Prof. Kristinne Joyce A. Lara, Univ. Director for Domestic and International Partnership and Dr. Andy L. Catulin, Univ. Director for Business and Resource Mobilization.
Special thanks to Engr. Roger Rumpon, CEO โ Carig Campus represented by Dir. Mac Lagundi, Dir. Denis Policar of IPRM, Prof. Crizaldy Binarao, Dean, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and to all the specialized organizations of the College.
The activity was also participated in by student leaders of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics who prepared the planting site and assisted in the tree planting activity.

Last August 16, visiting students from Malaysian and Indonesian engaged in the Painting Session with the supervision of Ms. Jane P. Quilang, a faculty member from the College of Industrial Technology, CSU-Carig Campus.
The exchange and local students were encouraged to explore their creativity through painting, with a focus on themes related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event not only provided an opportunity for cultural exchange but also highlighted the importance of youth involvement in global sustainability efforts. By using painting as a tool for dialogue and expression, the students contributed to a broader conversation about the urgent issues addressed by the SDGs, reinforcing the notion that creativity can drive meaningful action in the pursuit of a better future.

Cagayan State University - Aparri Campus thru Campus Executive Officer Dr. Audy R. Quebral, welcomed and hosted students from Malaysia and Indonesia for their Cultural Immersion Program held on August 16, 2024.
As part of the Student Learning Journey of the participants, the seven (7) foreign students who are from Universitas Warmadewa, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Shah Alam, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara immersed themselves in the fishing activity in the campusโ production pond and toured around Aparriโs coast at Ammaleran, Dodan, and Punta.
CEO Quebral led the event together with Dr. Giged T. Battung, Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization, Assoc. Prof. Kristinne Joyce A. Lara, Director for Domestic and International Partnership, Prof. Christopher Tulauan, IPRM Coordinators, Campus officials, and YFEP facilitators.

Cagayan State University (CSU) recently held an engaging Youth Futures Thinking Workshop on August 15, 2024, joined by the visiting students from Universitas Warmadewa, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Shah Alam, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara.
The workshop featured a series of insightful presentations from distinguished speakers.
Dr. Giged T. Battung, CSU's Vice-President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization, kicked off the event with a compelling talk titled "Empowering Youth Leaders Through Futures Thinking." He emphasized the importance of preparing the youth for leadership roles in shaping a sustainable future.
Ms. Nina Katrina D. Matammu challenged participants with her philosophical exploration in "Beyond the Now," where she posed the question, "Why Tomorrow Starts Today?" Her discussion encouraged attendees to reflect on their responsibilities in shaping the future and the necessity of immediate action.
In her presentation "The Change-Maker's Toolkit," Ms. Trixie Joy B. Gano provided practical strategies for creating a lasting impact. She focused on the significance of innovation, collaboration, and a proactive mindset in driving positive change within communities.
Mr. Jianel B. Alfaro concluded the session with his insights on "Action Driven Aspirations: The Role of Student Leaders." He highlighted how student leaders can be powerful agents of change, urging them to transform their aspirations into actionable steps that benefit their communities and the wider world.
Overall, the workshop not only facilitated knowledge sharing but also inspired participants to think critically about their roles as future leaders.

As part of our exchange program, we had a Provincial Museum Visit at Cagayan Museum and Historical Research Center through the history of Cagayan to experience our vibrant culture and rich history.
This activity was participated by the Exchange Students from Universitas Warmadewa, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) โ Shah Alam, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara facilitated by Cagayan State University team.
Following this, Tuguegarao City Tour with the delegations, admiring the town, observing beautiful culture here in the Philippines. The exchange students said this was an interesting experience.

The Cultural Show and Friendship Night of the Youth Futures Exchange Program, held on August 14, 2024, at the CSU-Claude Andrews Convention Center, was a vibrant celebration of cultural exchange and unity. The said event brought together visiting lecturers and exchange students from three universities: Universitas Warmadewa (UNWAR), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) โ Shah Alam, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara (UMSU).
The evening commenced with a heartfelt welcome from Mr. Ramon Henry Peregrino O. Kanapi, the Campus Executive Officer of CSU Andrews Campus. Following his remarks, Dr. Giged T. Battung, Vice-President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization, inspired attendees with a statement emphasizing the importance of cultural collaboration and the shared journey of the participants.
A standout feature of the night was the captivating performances by the Athena Performing Arts Bureau (APAB), the Dionysian Trio, and the CSU Rondalla Ensemble. These performances showcased a rich array of cultural expressions, fostering a sense of friendship and unity among all attendees, making the event not just a showcase of talent but a celebration

The recent Youth Futures Exchange Program brought together aspiring professionals from the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) and the College of Hospitality Management (CHM) for an enlightening Lecture Series: Training on Sustainable Tourism Development and e-Marketing Towards Internationalization. Held on August 14, 2024, at the CSU Conference Hall, Andrews Campus, this event was a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and networking among the faculty members.
The event kicked off with a spirited rendition of the national anthems of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Dr. Lianne T. Abuan, Dean, College of Hospitality Management welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of sustainability in todayโs tourism landscape.
In his topic โSustainable Tourism Development: The Bali Experienceโ, Dr. I Made Suniastha Amerta, Director for Internationalization of Warmadewa University captivated the participants with insights from Bali, illustrating how the island's tourism practices can serve as a model for sustainable development.
Meanwhile, I Made Toni Hendrawan, a visiting student from Warmadewa University, Indonesia delivered his topic, Studentโs Life at Bali: A Basis for Developing Exchange Program for Internationalization. The shared experiences of him, highlighted how student life in Bali can inspire the development of exchange programs aimed at fostering international ties.
Dr. Eri Yanti Nasution, M.Ec., a visiting lecturer from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera, Malaysia presented the topic, Leveraging the Power of Micro and Nano Influencers: Strategies for Authentic and Effective Marketing.
The event concluded with remarks from Prof. Antonia Josefa A. Taguinod, Dean of CBEA, emphasizing the collaborative spirit fostered throughout the series. This lecture series not only provided valuable insights into sustainable tourism practices but also encouraged participants to critically assess the future of tourism in an increasingly interconnected world.
