Bakit kaya paborito mo ang itim…
dahil ba tahimik ito
pero may lalim?
Parang mga tingin mong seryoso
pero maya-maya’y may kasunod na biro.
Napapatawa mo kami
kahit minsan ‘di namin gets,
kaya tatawa nalang kami
para kunwari ay gets.
At kapag may kalokohang narinig,
mabilis mong sasabihin ang:
“Sira!.”
Dalawang salita,
pero siguradong ikaw agad
ang maaalala.
Pero aminin man namin o hindi,
ikaw ‘yung klase ng guro't ina
na hindi nakakasawang alalahanin.
Happy Birthday, DR. YRMELIZA V. RODRIGUEZ!!

You’ve graced plain fabrics and scraps into something so extraordinary and unique. From the simplest pieces, you always find a way to turn things into something bongga. So, it’s only right we make this day just as grand for you.
Beyond the style and creativity, you’re someone who brings lightness into every room, the kind of friend people hold onto. From now on, may your days be filled with even bolder creations, louder laughs, and moments that feel just as special as the things you make.
Happy birthday, Jude!

Second-year BA Communication students showcased three Short and Sweet Play productions as their final requirement in the Speech and Drama course last April 23.
The sophomores told stories centered on a strained mother-daughter relationship, vote buying, and political colors.
Each play ran for only a few minutes, challenging students to deliver concise yet impactful narratives through limited time and minimal staging. Despite these constraints, the plays highlighted the students’ ability to convey emotion, conflict, and social commentary. The performances also emphasized the importance of storytelling as a tool for reflection and awareness.
After the performances, the class also held a brief recognition for first-semester awardees, with top achievers receiving certificates and medals for their academic performance.
