Session 2 for our Young G7-9 Math Olympians is officially complete! While the tricky pre-test had our little math wizards scratching their heads, breaking down each puzzle showed that big solutions start with simple, curious steps.

More than just numbers on a page, today was all about turning challenging problems into exciting adventures, building grit, and sparking a genuine love for logic. Every mistake made today was just another clue toward mastering tomorrow’s challenge! 💡✨

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! 🧮💙

The JHS Alliance of Math Enthusiasts (AME), together with our JHS AME Club volunteers, successfully conducted the 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 for 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝟔 on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) Elementary Unit.

The session helped learners strengthen their Math skills through peer learning, guided practice, and collaborative activities as they prepared for their upcoming summative test.

The program also supports the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟒 – 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟎 – 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, and 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟕 – 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬.

More than just solving equations, today marked the first step in sharpening the analytical instincts, resilience, and clarity required of tomorrow’s global Math Olympians. Mistakes made today are simply strategic lessons for the competition ahead.

Featuring guest speaker 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦. 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗯𝗮, 𝗨𝗔𝗣, 𝗥𝗠𝗣, a USLT SHS Alumnus the activity provided participants with valuable technical insights, bridging pure mathematics with professional spatial design and digital engineering.

During the hands-on session, student participants were given the opportunity to explore and try 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁 directly on their own laptops, translating theoretical geometric concepts into real-time 3D modeling.

The SHS Alliance of Math Enthusiasts (AME), together with our dedicated SHS AME Club volunteers, successfully conducted the first leg of the Math Buddy Program yesterday, August 7, 2026.

Through peer-to-peer mentorship, our student-tutors worked hand-in-hand with our Grade 7 participants to review core concepts, conquer challenging topics, and boost their confidence ahead of their upcoming Term 1 examinations.
