Mindful of the health and wellbeing of the members of our SPUP academic community, we earnestly REQUIRE everyone to 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗞 starting 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. We also encourage the observance of minimum health protocols.

In celebrating the beauty of reading and its power to inspire individuals, the Knowledge and Information Resource Network (KIRN) together with the preschool department celebrated the 89th National Book Week with the theme, "Read. Reread. Relive." on November 29, 2023.

Preschool pupils displayed their creativity and skills with vibrant costumes and lively performances. They were strongly encouraged to wear costumes crafted from recycled materials, accompanied by a book representing their chosen character. Impressively, each child came well-prepared, confidently sharing not only the character's name but also the title of the associated book.

Dr. John Kit Masigan, the Coordinator of the Grade School Program, delivered an uplifting message to parents and preschool pupils. He underscored the significance of literature in fostering creativity and imagination. Dr. Masigan urged the young readers to continue their love for reading, emphasizing that imagination serves as the cornerstone for realizing their dreams.

The highlight of this event is the recognition of the most exceptional costumes, with parents investing their time and energy in crafting these dazzling outfits. Above everything else, the event motivated the children to explore the world of imagination and cultivate a lasting enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
