🌦️🎨🧺 Learning Happens Everywhere! 💛

Our Preschool Learners had a fun, hands-on day of discovering the world around them—through rainy-day safety, washing clothes, and color mixing and painting!

From wearing raincoats and using umbrellas, to caring for their clothes and exploring colors together, our children learned important skills through doing, observing, playing, and helping.

These simple experiences build more than knowledge, they nurture motor skills, sensory awareness, teamwork, creativity, and responsibility. 🌱

Because sometimes, the best classroom is simply everyday life. ✨

Tonight, our K-Squared Lakbay Family Support Group ultimately led itself to something beautiful: the practice of community. 💛

From different thoughts and reactions to recent findings on autism, our families gently shifted the conversation from the “whys” to the “hows”, how we can shape our homes, schools, and environments to better support our children.

And as we move forward, our Lakbay families remain hopeful, faithful, and committed to the upcoming activities and events that continue to foster inclusion, connection, and community. 🌱

Today, our learners took their first steps toward understanding saving, money, and banking through our Smart Savers Orientation and Registration!

A heartfelt thank you to the whole BDO Unibank Team for offering your Junior Savers Club, sharing your time, patience, expertise, and kindness with our learners and families. 💙

Thank you as well to our dedicated teachers for supporting our Smart Savers, and our participating families for continuing to support and embrace relevant learning opportunities like this. Your partnership helps us create experiences that connect classroom learning with real life.

We are especially grateful to Sir Neil Guimmayen, Area Head of BDO Cagayan Valley, and Ma’am Yeng Bautista, BDO SM City Tuguegarao Branch Head, for gracing our event and supporting this meaningful learning experience.

To our Lakbay Families, we invite you to our next K² Family Support Group, an exclusive and safe space for Lakbay parents and families to learn, share, and connect.

Together with Teacher Rico, Abbygail, and Melisande, we’ll talk about recent research on autism, including what we now understand about its genetic basis, and, most importantly, what this can mean for everyday family life.

💙 Growing Confidence, One Saving at a Time! 💰✨

My First Step Whole Child Development Center, through the Lakbay Inclusion Program, is excited to partner with BDO SM City Tuguegarao for upcoming activities on September 18 and 25!

This initiative introduces our learners to simple, meaningful experiences in financial literacy, because learning about money, saving, and making choices can begin as young as they are. 🌱

More than learning about money, we hope to help our children build confidence, independence, responsibility, and everyday life skills, at their own pace and in ways that are meaningful to them. 💙

Isang masaya at makulay na Heritage Day Celebration ang ating isinagawa ngayong araw sa My First Step Whole Child Development Center, sa Robinsons Place Tuguegarao! 🎉

Mula sa mga kasuotang hango sa Pinoy Food, mythical creatures, festivals, tourist destinations ng Pilipinas, at iba pa, tunay na naging makulay ang ating pagdiriwang ng kulturang Pilipino. 🌈

Nasaksihan din natin ang masiglang pagtatanghal ng ating mga learners sa mga grupong sayawan ng mga awiting Pinoy, na sinundan ng ating community dance sa himig ng “Ang Sarap Ang Saya Maging Pilipino.” 💃🕺

Higit sa mga kasuotan at pagtatanghal, ang araw na ito ay paalala na mas nagiging makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang kapag sama-sama ang buong komunidad.

🇵🇭 Masaya ring nagtapos ang ating mga Preschoolers sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Lahi! 💛✨

Nakilahok ang ating mga munting mag-aaral sa mga larong Pinoy tulad ng Sardinas, Bulan-Bulan, at Tumbang Preso, na puno ng galaw, tawanan, at pakikipaglaro. 🥳

Nagkaroon din sila ng pagkakataong ipakita ang kanilang pagkamalikhain sa pamamagitan ng hand printing, kung saan bawat munting kamay ay naging bahagi ng ating sama-samang pagdiriwang. 🖐️🎨

Salamat sa ating mga g**o at pamilya sa pagsuporta at pakikiisa upang gawing masaya, makabuluhan, at inclusive ang pagdiriwang para sa ating mga bata.

Isang makulay at masiglang pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Lahi dito sa My First Step! ✨

Ipinamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang husay sa pag-awit at showmanship, habang ipinakita naman sa poster-making ang kanilang malikhain at makukulay na ideya. 🎶🎨

Congratulations sa lahat ng nagpakita, nakilahok, sumubok, at nag-enjoy! Bawat paglahok, malaki man o maliit, ay isang tagumpay na dapat ipagdiwang. 💙❤️💛
