FOURTH DAY HIGHLIGHT - Afternoon Session | English Language Camp – Persuasive Writing and Grand Recital

The fourth day of the English Language Camp at St. Paul University Philippines was a powerful display of confidence, collaboration, and creativity.

In the morning session, the Japanese students from Tokushima University, Japan focused on Persuasive Writing, learning how to express opinions clearly and support their ideas with strong reasons and examples. Through both group and individual writing activities, the students practiced organizing their thoughts logically while developing their critical thinking and communication skills.

The afternoon was a celebration of learning as the students took center stage for their much-awaited Recital—this time as the performers and speakers, while the teachers proudly became the audience. They confidently showcased their writing outputs and demonstrated how much they had grown throughout the camp.

Adding a beautiful cultural touch to the program, the students also shared their heritage through song and dance, making the recital not only an academic presentation but also a meaningful cultural exchange.

Guided by Dr. Concepcion G. Doyugan, Head of the Intercultural Institute for Learning (IIL), and facilitated by the English teachers Cez Anne Marie B. Medrano, Abigail E. Privaldos, and Jevy Mark T. Dupay, Day 4 truly highlighted the students’ transformation into confident English communicators and cultural ambassadors.
