A Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally signed among the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Human Resources Development Foundation, Inc. (PCCI HRDF), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Cagayan Chapter, and Cagayan State University โ Carig Campus, signifying a shared commitment to promote cybersecurity awareness, digital responsibility, and future collaborative development programs for students, faculty, and the academic community.
Present during the ceremonial signing and partnership engagement were Dr. Alberto P. Fenix, Jr., President of PCCI HRDF; Ms. Evelyn L. Velasco, President of PCCI Cagayan Chapter; Dr. Jennifer B. Ibanez, Campus Director for IPRM; Dr. Generino P. Siddayao, University Dean of the College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS); Prof. Crizaldy P. Binarao, Dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM); Prof. Dexter Dumayag; and Ms. Annie Klein Sarol, CSU CICS University Deansโ Secretary. Their presence reflected the universityโs strong support for meaningful partnerships that benefit learners and further strengthen industry-academe collaboration.
The agreement establishes the framework for the conduct of Cyber Hygiene Training as an initial joint undertaking, while opening doors for future programs in entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, digital skills enhancement, mentoring, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives between the academic and business sectors.
This milestone partnership highlights the collective vision of CSU Carig Campus, PCCI HRDF, and PCCI Cagayan in preparing future-ready graduates and building empowered communities through education, innovation, and collaboration.
