BAGGAO EAST DISTRICT CELEBRATES WOMEN'S MONTH AT HACIENDA INTAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

In celebration of Women's Month, all female teachers and non-teaching personnel of Baggao East District gathered at Hacienda Intal National High School on March 25, 2026. The meaningful event was conceptualized by the empowered woman of the district, Ma'am Star Dimaya, District Supervisor with the help of the Male Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel led by the male School Heads.

Among the participating groups were the female teachers of Barsat West Elementary School, who received a special tribute organized by their School Head Johnr RLeones Leones with assistance from Administrative Officer Sir Michael Francis Henry Berbano .

The teachers were pleasantly surprised with tokens of appreciation along with "funny" certificates awarded during the program. They expressed heartfelt gratitude for the initiative, noting that it recognized their hard work and dedication.

The event aimed to honor the invaluable contributions of women in the field of education and strengthen camaraderie among female employees across the district.

Barsat West Elementary School Holds Successful Clean-Up Drive with Strong Parent-Teacher Collaboration

BARSAT WEST, Baggao,Cagayan - Barsat West Elementary School successfully conducted a comprehensive clean-up drive recently, demonstrating strong community spirit and environmental stewardship. The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from parents across all grade levels, working alongside dedicated teachers who provided supervision and guidance. The event was spearheaded by the dynamic leadership of SPTA President, Rolando Cabag

The clean-up efforts focused on several key activities to enhance the school's environment. Volunteers meticulously carried out trimming and pruning of overgrown foliage, swept pathways and common areas, and diligently uprooted weeds from the school grounds. A significant part of the drive also involved clearing the compost pile and carefully segregating wastes, promoting proper waste management practices within the school community.

School Head Johnifer Leones expressed his profound gratitude for the cooperation showed by the parents and teachers.

The successful clean-up drive highlights the commitment of Barsat West Elementary School's entire community towards creating a conducive and healthy learning environment for its students.

The entire Barsat West Elementary School community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Non-Teaching Personnel of Baggao East District for their outstanding achievement at the Division Arts Month Competition, held on March 12, 2026, in Solana, Cagayan.

We are particularly proud of our very own Administrative Officer, Sir Michael Francis Henry Berbano, for being a vital member of the team that secured the remarkable Second Runner-Up position. This accomplishment is a testament to their talent, dedication, and collaborative spirit.

This success was made possible through the invaluable guidance of the Public Schools District Supervisor,Ma'am Star Dimaya and all the supportive school heads. The team was accompanied by the Barsat West ES School Head, Sir Jhonr Leones

SPTA LAUNCHES "KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS" POPULARITY CONTEST TO SUPPORT CLASSROOMS AND READING KIOSK

The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) through the leadership of SPTA President Rolando Cabag had an instant "King and Queen of Hearts" popularity contest, designed to engage pupils across all primary levels while raising funds for school initiatives.

The contest is divided into two categories: Little King and Little Queen of Hearts for Key Stage 1, and King and Queen of Hearts for Key Stage 2 learners.

Under the fundraising structure, 50 percent of all proceeds will be distributed as classroom shares and the remaining 50 percent will be allocated to Phase 2 of the SPTA’s Reading Kiosk project.

This activity was conducted last Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm
