Cabanbanan Norte Elementary School successfully conducted the School-Based Kindergarten Learners’ Interest Day on March 6, 2026, providing young learners with an opportunity to showcase their talents, creativity, and confidence through various engaging activities. The event highlighted the importance of developing learners’ interests and abilities at an early age while promoting active participation and joyful learning among kindergarten pupils.

The activity featured several exciting contests designed to nurture different skills of the learners, including Writing, Reading, Singing, Dancing, and Draw and Tell. These activities allowed the pupils to demonstrate their emerging abilities in literacy, arts, and performance while building their self-esteem and communication skills.

The Writing Contest encouraged learners to copy a passage based on their developmental level. The activity was evaluated by Marlyn M. Taloza, Master Teacher I, who carefully assessed the pupils’ creativity, effort, and ability to communicate their thoughts through writing.

In the Dance Contest, kindergarten pupils confidently performed lively dance presentations that showcased their rhythm, and coordination. The performances were judged by Mayflorcita P. Palor, Teacher III, who commended the participants for their enthusiasm and confidence.

Meanwhile, the Reading Contest allowed learners to demonstrate their early literacy skills by reading short passages and words suited to their level. Jona P. Vera, Teacher III, served as the judge and praised the young readers for their courage and improving reading abilities.

The Draw and Tell Contest highlighted the pupils’ creativity and imagination as they illustrated their ideas and explained their drawings. This activity was judged by Cherry S. Duropan, Teacher I, who appreciated the creativity and expressive abilities of the learners.

Another highlight of the event was the Singing Contest, where pupils delighted everyone with their cheerful voices. The contest was judged by Jovie M. Duntugan, Teacher I, who noted the confidence and enthusiasm shown by the young performers.
