PAROL MAKING CONTEST
Contest Guidelines
1. Parol must be of any shape or design. However, its base should be a 5-point traditional star with tail
2. Size should be 36 inches or bigger (measured in height, width or diameter)
3. Parol must be colorful and hand made
4. Parol must be made of locally available materials
5. Lghts are required. However, candles and live fire are nit permissible
6. 2 days prior to opening night (December 10) finishing touches should be done in the presence of the organizers/pintados staff
7. Documentation is needed as proof that the designer/s personally made the parol.
8. The criteria for judging
Creativity 25 pts
Workmanship and Durability 25 pts
Originality 20 pts
Relevance to Christmas 20 pts
Presentation 10 pts
Total 100 pts
