JAKARTA, Indonesia — University of Cagayan Valley President Dr. Esther Susan N. Perez-Mari was honored with the Most Influential Iconic Women Award 2026 in Asia: Woman Leadership in Education and Empowerment during an awarding ceremony held on February 14, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The recognition places Perez-Mari among Asia’s most distinguished women leaders whose work continues to reshape education and leadership across borders.

She was cited for her excellence, innovation, and integrity in steering academic institutions toward inclusive and transformative growth.

The Most Influential Iconic Women Award 2026 presents a curated selection of categories that celebrate excellence, leadership, innovation, and impact among Asia’s most inspiring women, honoring those who demonstrate exceptional vision and the strength to elevate industries with influence and integrity.

According to the award-giving body, the recognition aims to spotlight women who redefine what it means to be truly iconic—visionary in purpose, resilient in action, and transformative in the legacies they create.

Perez-Mari, who also serves as president of the Higher Education Institutions Regional Offices Association (HEIROA) Region 02, was recognized for extending her leadership beyond classrooms, influencing institutions, industries, and communities through education-driven empowerment.

February 25 marks the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. The Greyhounds Debate Society commemorate the bravery of the millions of Filipino who fought against tyranny and oppression. May we take time to reflect and remember the courage and sacrifices of the people who fought for freedom, and recommit ourselves to the principles of democracy, justice, and good governance.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | UCV DEBATE TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL ROUND

The Semi-Final Round of this year’s debate tournament has emerged and heated the hall of CVP Building, UCV-VVP Campus, today 19th of September, 2024.

Another fierce battle of wits and arguments has been witnessed by the crowd as the match from the contingents of CME vs. COE-BA-HM which was followed by the second bout between SOWOLATE-CIT-COT vs. COH-BAE had delivered exemplary performance of skills that left them in awe and edged in their seats.

And now, only the Final Round of the competition was left. Join us to witness it on September 26, 2024!
