Pallua Integrated School Launches Brigada Eskwela with Community Support
Tuguegarao, City - Pallua IS officially launched its Brigada Eskwela on June 3, 2025, with a strong showing of support from the community and other NGOs. The event kicked-off with a parade around barangays Buntun, Pallua Sur and Norte where the learners live. Mrs. Jacqueline D. Pulido-Daguiao, the school principal led the activity together with the school's teaching and non-teaching staff, and participated by CAGELCO 1 Director Mr. Vicente Bucayu, barangay officials of both Pallua Sur and Norte, parents and other stakeholders.
The BE, a nationwide program of the Department of Education, aims at readying schools for the new academic year, involved cleaning, painting and repainting, and minor repairs to school facilities. This year's BE is guided with the theme, "Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa."
Following the parade, a simple program was held at the school gym.
