From Passion comes to Fruition. ๐ŸŒฑ

True success and enjoyment are found when personal passions meet a greater purpose! โœจ The Junior High School - Guidance Services Unit successfully conducted the Career Guidance Session for all Grade 10 students on September 22, 2026, with the theme, "From Passion to Profession: Preparing Paulinians for the Careers of the Future." Academic Year 2026-2027. With the collaboration of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Tuguegarao City, this career guidance session aims to provide our students with essential information on career planning, educational pathways, and future employment opportunities.

We also like to give our appreciation to our guest speakers, Ms. Carlina Joy N. Viernes, the PESO Manager and Mr. Francis Joseph M. Reyes, an Information Technology Officer from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), with their insights on labor market information and productive career choices. Your talks has surely invoked motivation in our students' passion in discovering their career choices.

Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Guidance Counselor, or Psychometricianโ€”Who Should You Consult? ๐Ÿง ๐ŸŒธ

Mental health professionals have different but complementary roles:

Psychologists - assess and diagnose psychological concerns, conduct psychological testing, and provide psychotherapy and evidence-based interventions.

Psychiatrists - are medical doctors who diagnose mental health conditions and can prescribe and manage medications.

Guidance Counselors - provide counseling and support for personal, social, academic, career, and adjustment-related concerns.

Psychometricians - administer, score, and assist in interpreting psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. They support the assessment process but do not independently provide a psychological diagnosis.

The appropriate professional depends on your specific needs. In some situations, these professionals may work together to provide more comprehensive care. If you are unsure where to begin, you may start with a mental health consultation.
