Parading with balloons, placards, and cheers, our MedLabSci freshmen entered the MCNP-ISAP Gymnasium for the Grand Welcome Program, officially starting their exciting journey as future healthcare professionals.

They were warmly greeted by the institution's leaders, faculty, and staff, and the day was filled with inspirational messages, fun introductions, and vibrant spirit of camaraderie — a perfect start for our future RMTs!

Dr. Julius Capili Clinches Champion Title at 2025 AASMT Research Competition

PAMET Cagayan proudly congratulates Dr. Julius T. Capili, Advisory Council Member, for winning Champion in the Research Podium (Non-Experimental) Category during the 2025 ASEAN Association of Schools of Medical Technology (AASMT) Research Competition held on May 23–24, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela Campus.

Dr. Capili’s research stood out among entries from top institutions across Southeast Asia, showcasing his depth of expertise and commitment to advancing the field of medical technology. LIGHTING THE PATH: DR. ANTONIO INSPIRES FUTURE MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS

Dr. Cherry Lou M. Antonio, Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) Medical Center Chief II, served as the esteemed keynote speaker during the Laboratory Gown Donning, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremonies of Batch Ad Vitam Servandam 2026 at the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP), held on May 21, 2025.

In her address, Dr. Antonio inspired the next generation of Medical Laboratory Scientists with a powerful message on integrity, innovation, and service in healthcare. Emphasizing the often-unseen yet critical role of medical laboratory professionals, she reminded the students, "While your work may be behind the scenes, its impact is always at the heart of saving lives.”

Dr. Antonio also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the MCNP leadership, particularly President Dr. Christian R. Guzman, for the invitation and opportunity to share in such a significant milestone of the students’ academic journey. She commended the institution’s unwavering dedication to producing competent, ethical, and service-driven healthcare professionals.

The CVMC takes pride in Dr. Antonio’s continued contribution to shaping the future of healthcare—empowering young professionals through both leadership and example.
