Morning Rounds Conducted to Monitor Classroom Conditions and Learner Welfare

As part of the school's commitment to ensuring a conducive learning environment and promoting the well-being of learners, School Principal Dr. David John D. Ubera, together with the members of the Executive Committee composed of the different Subject Group Heads, conducted the school’s regular Morning Rounds.

The activity focused on monitoring classroom conditions, observing the conduct of classes, and ensuring that learners are provided with a safe, orderly, and supportive educational environment. During the rounds, Dr. Ubera and the Executive Committee visited various classrooms to assess attendance, classroom management, and the general readiness of learners and teachers for the day's academic activities.

In addition to classroom monitoring, the school leaders took the opportunity to engage with learners and check on their welfare. The initiative provided a platform for direct interaction with students, allowing the administration to better understand their needs and concerns while reinforcing a culture of care and support within the school community.

To further inspire and encourage the learners, Dr. Ubera and the Subject Group Heads distributed simple treats, including candies and lollipops. The gesture brought smiles to the students and reflected the school's dedication to fostering a positive and welcoming learning atmosphere.

The conduct of the Morning Rounds underscores the administration’s continued efforts to strengthen educational delivery, promote learner welfare, and cultivate a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.

DDSNHS Learners Showcase Talent and Excellence at DFOT 2026

Learners of Dupax del Sur National High School (DDSNHS) proudly took part in the Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) 2026, joining various competitions that highlighted the creativity, intelligence, and skills of students from across the Division of Nueva Vizcaya.

The annual event served as a platform for young talents to shine, allowing participants to demonstrate their abilities in academics, journalism, performing arts, and other co-curricular fields. DDSNHS sent delegates to several contests, carrying with them the pride and banner of the school.

Representing the school in the Dokyuwento competition were Kylene Yu, Sperry Abijay, and Andrea Maejan, guided by their coach Ms. Lorie Joy Mariz C. Gapasin. The team showcased their storytelling skills and creativity through documentary-based presentations.

In the HISTOPOP Quiz Bee, Mavves Isaac Felix competed against some of the brightest learners in the division. Under the mentorship of Ms. Melanie R. Arceo, Felix demonstrated his knowledge of history and social studies, reflecting the school's commitment to academic excellence.

Meanwhile, Daniel Jude Daran represented DDSNHS in the Reasons and Resolve Debate Competition, where participants were challenged to present well-reasoned arguments and defend their positions with confidence and critical thinking. He was trained and guided by Ms. Mariela P. Nacion.

DDSNHS also fielded participants in the Pinasayaw competition under the supervision of Ms. Winnie Ann Q. Gurat. Through their graceful and energetic performance, the learners celebrated Filipino culture and artistry while showcasing teamwork and discipline.

Adding to the school's strong presence in the festival was the participation of learners in the Likhawitan competition under the guidance of Ms. Lourdes A. Tubiera. The contestants exhibited their musical talents and creativity, further highlighting the diverse abilities of DDSNHS learners.

According to the delegation list, the learners who represented the school in the Pinasayaw were Chrysler Domingo, Woo Jim Liquigan, Aaron Clifford Agunos, Alvin Laccay, Mark Jaycee Castil, Lucky Yvan Pascua, Starr Leigh Valencia, Sharmaine Tomilas, Muriel Roldan, Juliana Marie Mayo, Heizy Leigh Sicat, Ferlyn Jhen Galamay, Katherine Joy Ciril, Jenilyn Salazar; while Nina Daran, Savana Lorenzo, and Prince Marcelo represented the school in Likhawitan competition.

One of the highlights of DDSNHS' participation was its impressive performance in the Pinasayaw Competition, where the school's delegation earned the title of First Runner-Up.

Their dedication, together with the unwavering support of their coaches, teachers, parents, and school administrators, reflects the school's mission of developing competent, creative, and well-rounded individuals.

As the festival came to a close, the delegates returned home carrying valuable experiences, unforgettable memories, and a deeper sense of pride in representing their school.

MGA G**O, NAGSAMA-SAMA SA PER-YEAR LEVEL MEETING PARA SA UPDATE MULA SA EXECUTIVE MEETING

Setyembre 22,2026-Ginanap ang isang mahalagang pagtitipon kung saan nagkaharap-harap ang mga g**o at ang mga nakatalagang stewardess ng bawat year level upang talakayin ang mga pangunahing resultang napagkasunduan sa nagdaang Executive Meeting.

Ipinatawag ang nasabing pagpupulong upang tiyakin ang mabilis at maayos na daloy ng impormasyon mula sa pamunuan patungo sa iba't ibang antas ng paaralan. Sa tulong ng mga year-level stewardess, na nagsisilbing tulay at katuwang sa koordinasyon, detalyadong inilatag ang mga bagong alituntunin, programa, at mga tagubilin.Ilan sa mga pangunahing paksang nabigyang-diin ay ang mga sumusunod:

Mga Bagong Patakaran: Paglilinaw sa mga na-update na pamantayan at administratibong tagubilin mula sa nakaraang executive meeting.

Koordinasyon ng Bawat Antas: Pag-aayos ng mga nakatakdang aktibidad para sa bawat year level.

Tugon sa mga Pangangailangan: Pagkuha ng mga puna at suhestiyon mula sa mga g**o upang maiparating pabalik sa pamunuan.

Tiyak at positibo naman ang naging pagtanggap ng mga g**o sa nasabing per-year level assembly, dahil malaki ang maitutulong nito upang maging mas organisado at magkakasundo ang bawat antas sa pagpapatupad ng mga layunin ng institusyon.

EXECOM, Pinagtibay ang Paghahanda sa mga Gawain sa Setyembre at Oktubre

Pinagtibay ng Lupong Tagapagpaganap (EXECOM) ng Dupax del Sur National High School (DDSNHS) ang paghahanda para sa mga nakatakdang gawain, programa, at iba pang aktibidad ng paaralan sa Setyembre at Oktubre 2026 sa isinagawang pagpupulong sa Tanggapan ng Punongg**o.

Pinangunahan ni Dr. David John D. Ubera, PhD, Punongg**o I, ang pagpupulong kasama ang mga kasapi ng EXECOM, alas-10:30 ng umaga.

Tinalakay ng lupon ang mga kinakailangang paghahanda para sa mga nalalapit na gawain ng paaralan, kabilang ang pagsasaayos ng iskedyul, koordinasyon ng mga sangkot, at paghahati ng mga tungkulin.

Binigyang-pansin din ang maagang pagpaplano upang maging malinaw ang mga responsibilidad at matiyak ang kahandaan bago ang pagsasagawa ng bawat gawain.

Sa pamamagitan ng maayos na koordinasyon at paghahanda, pinag-ugnay ng EXECOM ang mga kinakailangang hakbang para sa organisadong pagsasagawa ng mga nakatakdang gawain ng paaralan sa Setyembre at Oktubre.

LIWANAG Program, Nagsilbing Inspirasyon sa Pagiging Mapagbigay at Walang Pag-iimbot

Setyembre 16,2026-Muling nagkasama-sama ang mga g**o mula sa Kagawaran ng Junior High School para sa lingguhang LIWANAG Program na idinaraos tuwing Miyerkules. Sa pagkakataong ito, naging pangunahing pokus ng peryodiko ang kahalagahan ng pagiging mapagbigay at pag-una sa kapwa .

Tampok sa naturang tipon si Gng. Winnie Ann Q. Gurat, na nagbahagi ng isang makabuluhang idea. Hinimok niya ang mga g**o na lumabas sa kanilang sariling kagustuhan at isapuso ang gawa ng bukal sa loob na paglilingkod. Kanyang ipinaliwanag na ang tunay na kagalakan ay hindi natatagpuan sa sariling pakinabang, kundi sa mga simpleng acts of kindness at pagmamalasakit na nag-aangat sa buong komunidad.Nagkaroon ng repleksyon ang mga dumalo tungkol sa praktikal na pagpapakita ng kabutihan sa pang-araw-araw — tulad ng pag-alalay sa mga kapwa g**o, pag-alaga sa pamilya, at pagiging kapaki-pakinabang na mamamayan.

Patuloy na nagsisilbing tanglaw ang LIWANAG Program para sa faculty, na nagpapaalala na ang pagtuturo ay hindi lang pagbibigay ng leksyon kundi pagtataguyod din ng magandang asal. Sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahalaga sa pagiging mapagbigay, lalong pinatitibay ng mga g**o ang kanilang tungkulin bilang mga gabay na nag-iwan ng aral ng malasakit, pananagutan, at serbisyo.

BEYOND THE SELF: DDSNHS SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION EMBRACES THE SPIRIT OF SELFLESSNESS

DUPAX DEL SUR, NUEVA VIZCAYA — Selflessness is often seen in simple acts of kindness, quiet sacrifices, and the willingness to put the needs of others before one’s own. In a school community where leadership and service go hand in hand, selflessness becomes more than a virtue—it becomes a way of strengthening relationships, inspiring others, and creating a culture of genuine care.

This spirit took center stage as the School Administration of Dupax Del Sur National High School (DDSNHS) gathered for a meaningful collaborative session under Project LIWANAG, carrying the theme “Selflessness.”

More than a discussion on putting others first, the session provided an opportunity for the participants to reflect on the value of selfless service in the workplace. It highlighted how genuine leadership is demonstrated not only through responsibilities and decisions but also through compassion, understanding, cooperation, and the willingness to extend support to others.

Adding depth to the session was Mrs. Bernette Ann R. Sebbey, RN, Focal Person for Operations and Support, who served as the resource speaker. She shared meaningful insights on the importance of selflessness in creating a positive and supportive work environment. Her discussion emphasized that acts of service, no matter how simple, can leave a lasting impact on colleagues and the wider school community.

The session further emphasized that selflessness does not mean neglecting oneself. Rather, it is about recognizing that every member of the school community has a role to play in supporting one another and contributing to a shared purpose. Through empathy, cooperation, and service, individuals can help build an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.

For the School Administration, the theme served as a timely reminder that leadership is not measured solely by authority or position. It is also reflected in the willingness to listen, understand, assist, and serve. In every decision and every interaction, selflessness can become a powerful expression of commitment to the welfare of the school community.

The initiative was carried out under the leadership of Dr. David John D. Ubera, School Principal I, with the continued support of the school administration. Through Project LIWANAG, DDSNHS continues to provide meaningful opportunities for reflection, values formation, collaboration, and professional growth among its personnel.

Liwanag Program Highlights Selflessness in Values Formation

Dupax Del Sur National High School — September 2026.
The Senior High School Department gathered once again for the weekly LIWANAG Program (Values Formation) held every Wednesday, focusing this time on the virtue of selflessness.

The session was graced by Ms. Claire Ann C. Benter, who delivered an inspiring talk that encouraged teachers to look beyond themselves and embrace the value of serving others. She emphasized that true fulfillment comes not from personal gain, but from acts of kindness and sacrifice that uplift the community.

Participants reflected on how selflessness can be practiced in everyday life — from helping colleagues, supporting family members, to contributing positively to society.

The LIWANAG Program continues to serve as a guiding light for the Senior High School teachers, reminding them that education is not only about imparting knowledge but also about shaping character. By embracing values such as selflessness, the teaching staff strengthen their calling as mentors who inspire compassion, responsibility, and service.

Indeed, this Values Formation activity is another step leading towards a STRONGER DUPAX DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.
