Pinangunahan ng DRRM Club katuwang ang Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), Philippine Red Cross Youth, at Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) ang maayos at organisadong pagsasagawa ng drill.

To safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of our learners and teachers, all in-person classes on June 16, 2026, are suspended due to the scheduled power interruption and extreme heat conditions affecting our classrooms.
In line with DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, CNHS-SH will activate the Flexible Learning Program under the โHinayโ (Ease-in) Learning Continuity Level. Through this approach, learning continues beyond the classroom as students engage in meaningful home-based learning activities using available digital or printed modules, with guidance and support from their teachers.
Education does not stop in times of challenge, it adapts. Let us remain safe, resilient, and committed to learning.
Stay safe. Stay cool. Keep learning.

CNHS-SH proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, where 82 learners strengthened their reading and numeracy skills through the dedication and selfless service of volunteer teacher-tutors.
For three weeks, while many were spending their vacation with their families, a group of committed educators chose to dedicate their time to helping learners overcome academic challenges and regain confidence in their abilities. Through the ARAL Program, 9 learners received Reading intervention, while 73 learners participated in Numeracy remediation, equipping them with essential skills as they prepare for the upcoming School Year 2026โ2027.
Beyond improving academic competencies, the program became a source of encouragement and empowerment for learners who often struggled with self-doubt. One learner shared a realization that touched the hearts of the tutors:
The statement reflects one of the programโs most significant impacts-not merely enhancing literacy and numeracy skills, but helping learners overcome fear and develop confidence in themselves.
Another learner expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teacher-tutors:
โSalamat Maโam at Sir sa inyong pasensya sa amin. We are grateful for the sacrifice you have done for us.โ
Serving as Reading Tutor for the learners was Sir King Niรฑo Mappala, while Sir Vicente Dela Cruz, Maโam Rosa Garello, Maโam Shierley Bayoneta, and Maโam Jenifer Remigio led the Numeracy intervention sessions for the majority of the participants.
For the tutors, the experience was equally rewarding. Reflecting on the programโs impact, Maโam Shierley Bayoneta shared:
The success of the ARAL Program demonstrates that meaningful learning happens when educators extend not only their expertise but also their compassion. More than lessons in reading and mathematics, the learners gained something far more valuable-renewed confidence, strengthened determination, and the belief that they are capable of succeeding.
As the 82 completers move forward to the new school year, they carry with them improved skills, greater self-assurance, and the inspiring reminder that behind every learner's success is a community of teachers willing to go beyond their call of duty. #
