Today, Ireneo V. Diamante National High School proudly welcomed the evaluators from the Municipal Agriculture Office for the PINAKBEAT Evaluation Day, a meaningful opportunity to showcase our commitment to sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our evaluators for their encouraging words, positive appreciation, and insightful recommendations. Your valuable feedback inspires us to continue improving and strengthens our resolve to become a leading institution in agricultural education and sustainable development.
At the heart of our campus lies the IVDNHS Agricultural Parkโthe green heart of our school and a living laboratory where learning truly comes to life. More than a garden, it is a dynamic learning space featuring our MAKKS Area, Fruity Vegetable Area, Crawlers Area, Climbers Area, Root Crops Area, Aquaponics, Poultry House and Lovers' Nest, Vermicomposting Area, Contour Area, School Nursery, Feeding Area, and HEALTHPOD. Each area reflects our belief that education flourishes when learners experience, explore, and grow alongside nature.
Our GULAYAN 360ยฐ: READY, SET, GROW! program further brings this vision to life as every class section takes ownership of its own garden through the Best Gulayan sa Paaralan per Section initiative. Distribution of Section Seed Starter Kits are done, empowering every learner to become an active steward of food production, nutrition, and environmental conservation.
Beyond growing vegetables, we cultivate innovation. Through our Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TechPro) Offering in Organic Agriculture Production, our learners produce organic concoctions and botanical extracts for crops and livestock, develop nutritious food products and healthy beverages, create herbal ointments from plants grown within the school, and continue exploring sustainable technologies that benefit both the school and the community. These initiatives nurture not only future agriculturists but also responsible Agri-Advocates and aspiring Agripreneurs.
As we continue this journey, we hope to inspire more schools, families, and communities to embrace sustainable gardening, healthy living, and environmental responsibility. Together, we can transform every garden into a classroom, every harvest into hope, and every learner into a champion of a greener and healthier future.
