💚 A Heartfelt Tribute to the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Putat National High School

To all the dedicated Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Putat National High School,

Thank you for your unwavering hard work, patience, love, and dedication in guiding and supporting every student. You do more than teach lessons, you inspire dreams, shape character, and help us become better individuals.

Putat National High School is our second home, and our teachers are like our second parents, always there to guide, encourage, and believe in us. To our non-teaching staff, thank you for your invaluable service in making our school a safe, welcoming, and better place for everyone.
Your sacrifices may not always be seen, but they are deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Thank you for everything you do. Without your guidance, care, and dedication, we would not be where we are today. We are truly grateful to have you as part of our school family.

💚 Happy Teachers’ Day to all the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Putat National High School!

You are appreciated, valued, and loved.

DSPC 2026
More Than Just a Competition

When Mr. SUPT. Senen Priscilo P. Paulin, CESO V, declared, “I hereby declare Division Schools Press Conference 2026 is now open,” we felt that familiar feeling of adrenaline once again.

As we, young aspiring writers, picked up our pens under pressure, we wrote articles that held not only our voices, but the voices of many others.

Once again, we were reminded that journalism is so much more than just words on a paper.

Journalism has taught us to look deeper, listen for more, and question what we see. It allows us, campus journalists, to become a platform for those whose voices may be silenced.

Congratulations to our 4th placer, Jian Delas Mariñas, for placing in Filipino Science and Technology!

Your achievement serves as an inspiration to other aspiring journalists to continue trying, learning, and finding their own voices.

Congratulations as well to everyone who participated! Your hard work and dedication will serve as reminders of the kind of journalists you are becoming.

Though you may not have gone home with a medal around your neck, your journey is so much more than that.

A very warm and special thank you to our wonderful SPAs, Ma’am Nida D. Alferez and Miss Jamaicah Mae Ranay, for your endless patience and support. Thank you for sticking with us through it all and making sure every single one of our needs was met.

Our journey as journalists does not end here. As we go our separate ways, journalism is something that will always remain in our hearts and in the way we look at life.

This experience was more than just a competition. It brought us together, and it developed us in more ways than one. We will continue to write until the end.

And to the aspiring writers who want to try, don’t be afraid. Be part of the voice that brings people closer together and closer to the truth.

As the last day of DSPC 2026 in Cebu Province comes to an end, the memories, laughter, and moments we shared remain as some of the most precious things we could have gained from this competition.

This was Ang Bitian Publication in DSPC 2026!

PUTAT NHS OPENS 2026 INTRAMURALS WITH POWERFUL PRAYER

PUTAT, TUBURAN, CEBU — Putat National High School staff and officials launched the 2026 intramurals with an opening ceremony on the school grounds at 10:00 a.m. today, September 3.

The annual sports event marks a vital transition into the new semester under the theme "Championing Mind Power and Health through Excellence and Unity in Sports," offering students a much-needed break from rigorous academics while serving as a platform to discover hidden athletic talents within the campus.

The festivities began with a holy mass led by Rev. Fr. Lyle Carungay, who urged student-athletes to show sportsmanship ahead of the afternoon games."I wish for the best of luck for the contestants for this later event this afternoon," Carungay said during his homily.

Following the mass, School Head Bagamel Ylanan delivered the welcome address and expressed high expectations for the tournament."This year's batch is intriguing," Ylanan said, adding that he wishes for a successful and safe competition.

Sports Coordinator Luzlie Mae Talaugon then delivered the statement of purpose to officially set the goals for the tournament. Immediately after, Ylanan led the symbolic ceremony, officially opening the event through the rolling and dropping of the hanging banners.

According to school officials, the student body showed significantly higher energy and enthusiasm during the unfurling compared to last year's event."The students are more cheerful than last year's intramurals," one official noted, as the crowd erupted in cheers following the presentation of the team colors.

The program continued with TLE Coordinator John Emman Presbitero presenting the competing teams, followed by the team leaders introducing their respective delegations.

To ensure fair play, kickboxing champion Jhay Elle Las Piñas led the athletes in the Oath of Sportsmanship.

Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Adviser Emeschel Pasco then announced the official tournament schedules, venues, and sporting events.

Faculty President Nida D. Alferez concluded the morning ceremony with the closing remarks, while Honeylyn Olivo and Jenelle Montecalvo served as the masters of ceremony.
