Taking active steps toward environmental stewardship, the Tubod National High School community successfully conducted a tree-planting activity in Sitio Mahucdam, Barangay Capayahan, Tubod, Surigao del Norte. The initiative officially joins the regional advocacy under Project One Million Trees, uniting students, faculty, and local partners to combat deforestation, prevent soil erosion, and nurture long-term ecological balance in the province.
This impactful event was made possible through strong stakeholder collaboration. A heartfelt thank you goes to Taganito Mining Corp. - TMC based in Taganito, Claver, Surigao del Norte, for donating the healthy seedlings planted during the drive, and to Greenstone Resources Corporation - Careers (GRC) for providing the transportation support to get the team safely to and from the planting site in Tubod.
Through shared responsibility and community partnership, every tree planted by Tubod National High School brings Surigao del Norte one step closer to its one-million goal.
