Ngayong White Cane Safety Day, ating kilalanin ang mahalagang papel ng puting tungkod bilang simbolo ng kalayaan, kaligtasan, at malayang pagkilos ng ating mga kababayang may kapansanan sa paningin.

Ang isang simpleng paggalang sa kanilang espasyo at pagbibigay-daan ay malaking hakbang tungo sa isang mas accessible, ligtas, at inklusibong Pilipinas para sa lahat.

- Magbigay-daan sa mga taong may kapansanan sa paningin lalo na sa pagtawid.
- Iwasan ang stereotypes-may kakayahan silang maging produktibong miyembro ng lipunan.
- Siguraduhing accessible at inklusibo ang mga pasilidad at pampublikong lugar para sa Persons with Disabilities.

NOURISHING BODIES, CARING FOR NATURE! 💚

The Special Needs Education (SNED) – Tubod Central Elementary School proudly joined the celebration of Nutrition Month 2026 with the theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!” 🥗

Our SNED learners embraced the spirit of the celebration by bringing nutritious food for their lunch and sharing the joy of eating healthy together. 🍱

Adding sweetness to the celebration, our Transition Class turned the fruits they brought into a colorful and delicious Fruit Salad! 🍎🍇🍌🥭
Through this simple hands-on activity, our learners experienced the importance of choosing nutritious food, working together, and making the most of what nature provides. 🌱✨

It was a meaningful learning experience that reminded us that healthy learners need a healthy environment, too.💚

Celebrating diversity, empowering abilities! 💙♿

Special Needs Education–Tubod Central Elementary School proudly joined the celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week (July 17–23, 2026), embracing the spirit of inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for all.

The celebration featured meaningful activities, including an opening prayer led by one of our SNEd learners, an Awareness Talk and Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) session, a Unity Dance, Friendship Games, distribution of inclusive flyers, and the Tools for Inclusion Exhibit. All highlighting that every learner has unique strengths and deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.

Together, we continue building a school where everyone belongs, everyone participates, and everyone succeeds. 💙

Parents, learners, and visitors explored the
Tools for Inclusion Exhibit, featuring learning materials used in Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and Braille. Participants also experienced hands-on activities that helped them better understand how these communication and learning tools promote accessibility and create a more inclusive learning environment for our all.

With hearts full of joy and confidence, the TCES SpEd learners gracefully took part in the Family Day celebration on February 21, 2026, Saturday afternoon. Their inspiring dance presentation reflected not only their remarkable talents but also their courage, unity, and determination.
