The TESDA Provincial Training Center - Lanao del Norte joins the nation in celebrating the 35th National Statistics Month.
The 35th National Statistics Month bears the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation.” This poster illustrates that digitalization has a vital role in advancing data and statistics towards improving the lives of the Filipino people.
Digitalization is changing the world and optimizing the government services we provide to the public. These advancement opportunities provide a platform for a more readily available statistics, enabling the general public to make evidence-based and well-informed decisions.
Network map image positioned in the middle of the poster shows the power of connectivity, linking the aspiration of the country for an empowered nation while also taking into consideration the various sectors of society, ensuring no one is left behind. The spheres connected in the network map symbolize the various sectoral statistics.
Digital transformation is one of the priority areas of the current administration, to which the Philippine Statistical System is one with the nation in transforming the government to a more digitally enabled environment. The background represents the gradual improvement of our society as we embrace digitalization. At the bottom, you will see a basic community but as you go higher up in the poster’s background, you will see an increasing improvement through the addition of high-rise buildings. This is the physical representation of our aspirations as we embrace digital transformation.
On its 35th year of celebration, coral and blue serve as the primary colors of the NSM poster. Coral color is associated with 35th anniversary, while blue is the most popular color associated with digitalization as it symbolizes stability and intelligence. These colors represent a vibrant celebration of the NSM reaffirming its objectives, and communicate that statistics play a significant role in the everyday lives of the Filipino people.

TESDA Provincial Training Center - Lanao del Norte Holds Grand Mass Graduation: 146 Graduates Celebrate Their Achievements

Kapatagan, Northern Mindanao, July 30, 2024 — The TESDA Provincial Training Center in Lanao del Norte recently hosted a momentous event—the grand mass graduation for trainees who successfully completed various technical and vocational qualifications. The Kapatagan Municipal Gymnasium was abuzz with excitement as 146 graduates proudly received their certificates, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication.

Diverse Qualifications, Shared Accomplishments
The graduates represented a wide range of qualifications, reflecting the center’s commitment to providing relevant and industry-aligned training programs. Among the qualifications celebrated were:

Driving NC II: These skilled individuals are now equipped to operate vehicles safely and efficiently, contributing to the transportation sector’s workforce.
Cookery NC II: The culinary arts took center stage as graduates demonstrated their proficiency in preparing delectable dishes. From appetizers to desserts, they are ready to make their mark in the food industry.
Trainers Methodology Level 1: As future educators, these graduates have honed their skills in instructional design, facilitation, and assessment. They are poised to inspire and empower the next generation of learners.
Bookkeeping NC III: With a solid foundation in financial management and record-keeping, these graduates are essential for maintaining accurate financial records in various organizations.
Organic Agriculture Production NC II: In an era where sustainable practices are crucial, these graduates have mastered organic farming techniques. They are well-prepared to contribute to eco-friendly agriculture.
Inspiring Words and Distinguished Guests
The graduation ceremony was graced by distinguished guests who shared their wisdom and encouragement with the graduates. SB Perlito Gonzaga, representing the local government unit (LGU), delivered an inspirational message. His words resonated with the graduates, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and community service.

TESDA PO-LDN Provincial Director Norayah A. Acas, JD, also addressed the audience. Director Acas commended the graduates for their resilience and commitment to excellence. She highlighted the role of technical education in nation-building and encouraged the graduates to continue their professional development.

A Bright Future Ahead
As the graduates tossed their mortarboards into the air, the atmosphere was charged with hope and anticipation. Many have already secured employment, while others plan to start their own ventures. The TESDA Provincial Training Center’s mission—to empower individuals with practical skills—has been fulfilled once again.
