The Provincial Government of Abra suspends onsite face-to-face classes in all public and private schools at all levels on August 24, 2026, in the interest of the safety and well-being of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Government work is likewise suspended, while concerned offices may adopt appropriate alternative work arrangements, subject to the needs of the service.

Private establishments are likewise encouraged to exercise discretion and adopt appropriate work arrangements, taking into consideration the safety and well-being of their employees and the prevailing weather conditions.

Health workers, rescue personnel, and other personnel involved in emergency response and the delivery of critical and continuous services shall continue to perform their duties as necessary.

The suspension is due to PAGASA’s forecast of occasional to frequent rains over Abra, brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), with possible moderate to heavy rainfall that may trigger flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, Tubo Central School continues the implementation of the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Regular monitoring of learners’ progress was conducted to ensure learning continuity. Parents and guardians actively guided and supported their children in accomplishing their learning tasks.

CLASSES REMAIN IN ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODE TODAY

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, the province of Abra is included in the suspension of face-to-face classes.

Our teachers continue to provide guidance, distribute learning tasks, and monitor the progress of all learners as they work on their modules and worksheets at home.

Tubo Central School continues to implement the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) as the Provincial Government suspended face-to-face classes for learners from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Through the ADM, teachers distributed learning activity sheets (LAS) and other learning materials to ensure the continuity of learning despite the suspension of in-person classes.

August 17, 2026- Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024, particularly Section 1, Article I, which provides for the suspension of in-person classes during disasters and emergencies while ensuring learning continuity through appropriate alternative delivery modalities, Tubo Central School implemented Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to ensure the continuity of learning. During the suspension of in-person classes, class advisers distributed Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) personally to learners and utilized online platforms when feasible. These measures enabled learners to continue accomplishing their learning tasks despite the disruption caused by the emergency.

Due to the class suspension declared by the Provincial Government, face-to-face classes at Tubo Central School were temporarily suspended. To ensure learning continues without disruption, all learners shifted to the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) setup. Learners will accomplish their learning tasks using self-learning modules and other approved ADM materials, with guidance and monitoring provided by their respective teachers.
