𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 — The SAGAI community continued its spiritual journey with the celebration of the 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬, gathering together in prayer, reflection, and devotion.

The celebration offered the SAGAI community a meaningful opportunity to pause from the busyness of everyday life and reflect on our relationship with God. Through prayer, we were reminded of the loving presence of our Guardian Angels, who accompany and guide us as we journey closer to Christ. The celebration was sponsored by the 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, whose participation helped make this day of prayer a meaningful expression of faith and devotion.

At the heart of the celebration was a profound question:

“𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕?”

This reflection invites us to look beyond how the world defines us and discover who we are in the presence of Christ. With Him, we are reminded of our dignity, purpose, and responsibility to live with faith, love, and compassion.

The celebration was made possible through the support and cooperation of the SAGAI community. More than a celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Mass became an opportunity to reflect on God’s boundless mercy, forgiveness, and unconditional love. It reminded the SAGAI community that even when we lose our way, God never closes the door on those who choose to return to Him.

During his homily, 𝐅𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝 shared:

The Spiritual Committee— Ma’am Kimberly Tallud, Carl Xandrei Balinnang & spearheaded by the Non-Academic Directress, Ma’am Chloe Martinez, proudly presents the second session of Lakbay Pananampalataya, continuing a meaningful journey that encourages the SAGAI community to pause from the busyness of everyday life, reflect on our faith, and strengthen our relationship with God.

This session reminds us that faith is not only expressed through words and traditions, but also through the way we live each day—by choosing to trust, forgive, persevere, serve, and show kindness to others. Through this journey, may we find meaningful moments that strengthen our faith and bring us closer to God.

May Lakbay Pananampalataya continue to touch the hearts of every SAGAIan and encourage us to live with faith, kindness, and a willingness to serve. May this journey remind us that wherever we go, God’s love remains our guide.

𝐀 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 — In observance of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆, the SAGAI community came together at 𝐒𝐭𝐨. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 for a Living Rosary and flower offering dedicated to Mama Mary.

The celebration gathered students, parents, and members of the school community in a shared expression of prayer and devotion. Through the Living Rosary, participants united in prayer, reflecting on Mary’s life and her unwavering faith in God.

Following the rosary, a flower offering was held as students and members of the community presented flowers in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Beyond the flowers themselves, the offering represented gratitude, respect, and love for Mary as the Mother of Jesus Christ.

The activity is one of the priority events set by our school management, headed by our President, Ma’am Marciana Tallud, MAEd., spearheaded by the Non-Academic Directress Ma’am Chloe Martinez with the assistance of the Spiritual Committee especially Ma'am Rocel Dela Cruz, Ma'am Che Canay, Carl Xandrei Balinnang & Aljon Jace Delos Santos.

The 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 likewise played a part in the conduct of the activity, especially on documentation with the guidance of 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐳.

The school also extends its appreciation to the Living Rosary participants composed of SSC officers, lectors, commentators, choir members and altar servers. We also thank the students, parents/guardians and the Academic Team headed by Ma'am Shirley Anne Dela Cruz for their presence and active participation in the celebration.

More than a religious activity, the gathering became an opportunity for the SAGAI community to come together in prayer and remembrance, honoring Mary’s life while strengthening the spirit of faith within the school.

Another year unfolds, bringing with it new memories, aspirations, and opportunities. On this special occasion, the SAGAI community extends its warmest greetings and appreciation for your commitment, effort, and the positive presence you share with those around you.

𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐀𝐍, 𝐊𝐔𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀 𝐊𝐀?

Sometimes, the simplest question can carry the greatest meaning.

“Kumusta ka?” may sound ordinary, but for someone quietly going through a difficult day, knowing that someone genuinely cares enough to ask can make a difference. It opens a door for conversation, reminds us that we are not alone, and gives us a chance to listen when someone needs to be heard.

This 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, may we remember that caring for one another is not limited to grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with a message. A conversation. A seat beside someone. A sincere “Are you okay?” And most importantly, the willingness to listen to the answer.

In a world where everyone seems to be carrying something, let us choose to be a little more patient, a little more understanding, and a little more intentional with our kindness. We may never know what someone is going through behind their smile, their silence, or their usual “okay.”

Let us create a community where people can speak without fear of being judged, where asking for help is seen as an act of courage, and where seeking support is never something to be ashamed of.

Let this month remind us to 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. We may not always have the right words, but we can always choose to listen. We may not be able to solve everything, but we can remind someone that they do not have to face a difficult moment without support.

To every SAGAIan reading this: 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧. There are chapters you have not reached, people you have not met, dreams you have not discovered, and moments you have yet to experience.

So today, let us ask one another—not just out of habit, but with genuine care:
