Confidence and teamwork have truly paid off!
Under the exemplary leadership of PSDS Monalisa Zambale, the School Heads of Tuao West District Elementary and Secondary and Tuao East Secondary successfully defended their Office Performance Commitment and Review Form (OPCRF) on May 23, 2025.

As we begin a new school year, this activity establishes a solid foundation for excellence and collaboration. Given the typical use of the OPCRF, this activity served as an excellent opportunity for everyone to set performance targets and commitments. It allowed everyone to evaluate actual performance against these targets, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback and coaching.

The Alabiao Elementary School celebrated its 99th Graduation Ceremony which was graced by DepEd Region 2 Assistant Regional Director, Florante Vergara on May 28, 2024. During his speech, he paid tribute to the people of his hometown and reminisced about his elementary school days. His presence undeniably inspired not only the graduates but also everyone else who attended the event.

Tuao West District kicked off the 5-day 2024 District Mid-Year In-Service Training for Teachers (INSET) held in Tuao Central ES on January 24, 2024, with the theme, "TUAO FOR AN ENHANCE" (Educators Nurturing and Honing Abilities as they Navigate Continuous Education).

On the first day of the activity, everyone dashed as they wore the day's motif. Just as how the color green is often used to symbolize freshness, rebirth, and renewal, everyone's knowledge and mastery of the subject matters discussed seemed to have been reborn and refreshed nurtured by the unparallelled enthusiasm and knowledge of day one's Resource Speakers. Truly, what a remarkable way to start the INSET!

Learning never stops so does our opportunity to grow. Hence, to ensure that teachers continue to grow professionally and are equipped with the necessary skills to get through the day-to-day delivery of their service, an assessment was done to identify the next teachers who shall be promoted should there be any future vacancies.

The assessment was held at Barancuag Elementary School on January 23, 2024. Six (6) teachers went heads-on for the ranking for the Teacher 2 position while four (4) teachers went for the Teacher 3 position.

The members of the DSAC headed by PSDS Monalisa Zambale then took this assessment as a platform to share their insights, pieces of advice, and knowledge to help the teachers improve especially on good records-keeping of their documentary requirements.

In this time where efforts are continually exerted to advocate for responsible journalism, the young journalists of Tuao West District take on the challenge as they went head-on during the recently conducted District School Press Conference in Bagumbayan Elementary School, Bagumbayan, Tuao, Cagayan last January 12-13, 2024.

The contest was graced by esteemed judges whose lectures catered to the participants and coaches further knowledge, new ideas, and strategies for better performances and outcomes. They are Mr. Joe M. Matammu, Ph.D., Ms. Cora B. Cocal, Ph.D., and Mr. Davis Lagundi, Ph.D.

The qualifiers shall participate in the Congressional Press Conference to be held in Iguig, Cagayan. The whole District puts their fingers crossed with high hopes of having these young journalists qualify for the Division Press Conference which shall be held in our hometown, Tuao come April 2024.

29 November 2023 || Following the recent conduct of the Division Workshop on Project G**O, the Tuao West District conducts the Adjustment of District Budget Proposal for 2025 purposely to address issues and concerns for clarifications and to set a common direction among schools in terms of the preparation of documentary requirements.

With this activity, PSDS Monalisa Zambale put emphasis on the judicious expenditure of MOOE considering the PAPs to be implemented for CY 2024.

In attendance are the Elementary School Heads and Administrative Officers II of Tuao West District with the Secondary School Heads, Non-teaching personnel of both the Tuao East and West Districts.

In response to DepEd's continuous quest to improve the learning situation in schools, PSDS Monalisa Zambale started the week through the conduct of Instructional Supervision (IS) together with the school heads of the different schools in Tuao West District.

Being an activity purposely created as a collaborative process for improving instruction, PSDS Zambales made sure that the conduct of IS will meet its purpose in the delivery of quality education to the learners. Gladly, her visit to some of the schools in the District did not disappoint. Thus, she would like to congratulate the following Teachers who have successfully exhibited their instructional prowess during this IS. To wit:

Tuao West District, under the headship of PSDS Monalisa Zambale, celebrated World Teachers' Day at TVTS Pata Annex yesterday, October 6. It was participated in by the teaching and non-teaching staff of all the elementary schools of Tuao West plus those of the secondary schools of both the Tuao East and Tuao West District.

The event commenced with the celebration of the Holy Mass followed by a short program which was graced by the SB members of LGU Tuao headed by Hon. Marcy Mamba-Perez.

Once in every year so it was, yesterday was taken as an opportunity for the teachers to unwind, enjoy, and play their stress away from the daily dose of work. Parlor games and ball games were played. Generous donors also gave prizes that were raffled among teachers.

Above all, truly, Tuao is a home to great leaders. Thus, this event would not have been pursued without the support of the Local Government Unit headed by its Local Chief Executive, Hon. William Mamba who is the major sponsor of the event.
