June 11 marked a significant day of unity and commitment at Bagumbayan Elementary School as school officials and parents gathered together for a Parents' Orientation for the School Year 2026-2027.

The orientation focused on the discussion in the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar, the structure of the Instructional Block, important updates on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition, and discussion of Learning Continuity Plan, and updates on the development of Brigada Eskwela. As part of the program, Election of General PTA officers was successfully conducted.

Prior to the orientation, Homeroom PTA Meeting was done to discuss specific concerns, class level plans, and needs of every learner.

We heartily thanked all the teachers and parents for the presence and unwavering support. Your presence is a testament to your commitment to the education of your children.

We look forward to a deeper partnership and collaboration as we work together for the success of every learner througout this school year. ♥️

BRIGADA ESKWELA
Day 5 - June 5, 2026

The Day 5 of Brigada Eskwela marked the end of this week-long activity. Parents and teachers came together at school to put the final touches on everything, just in time for the opening of classes this Monday, June 8.

Throughout the week, the school came ready and alive through the collaborative efforts of the teachers, barangay officials, parents, pupils, and volunteers.

While this week’s activities have finished, the spirit of Brigada Eskwela does not end here. The spirit of Bayanihan still continues to keep our school clean, orderly, and well-maintained all year round.

Bagumbayan Elementary School under the leadership of Mrs. Eslin M. Alvarez, extends its heartfelt gratitude to all barangay officials, parents, pupils, and volunteers.

Our gratitude to 4Ps members, who generously gave their time to clear and w**d the outgrown grasses at the back part of the school during the day 5—your help made a huge difference in making our grounds neat and tidy.

We sincerely thank everyone for the unwavering support, active participation, and generous contributions throughout Brigada Eskwela. Your presence, time, and effort truly made a big difference—helping us prepare our school and make it safe, clean, and fully ready for the opening of classes

BRIGADA ESKWELA
Day 4 - June 4, 2026

The day 4 of Brigada Eskwela kept everyone busy and working together to prepare the school for the opening of classes.

In the morning, teachers attended the culminating activity of Project READ to Move, an initiative led by Vice Governor Manuel Mamba to support reading and comprehension. While they were away, parents and volunteers took charge. They cleaned the school grounds to make it neat and orderly and painted the roof, clearly writing School ID and School name to make it look fresh and recognizable.

In the afternoon, teachers returned to school and immediately went back to work inside their classrooms. They arranged desks, organized materials, and made sure everything is set for the learners.

As this week-long activity nears its end, the whole school is filled with busy hands. Everyone is doing their best just to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable place for all learners.

We truly appreciate every teacher, parent, and volunteer who gave their time, energy, and hard work. Your kindness and teamwork show how much you care for our children’s future. Thank you for your heart and service! ♥️♥️

Day 3 - June 3, 2026

On the third day of Brigada Eskwela, parents and teachers worked side by side to wrap up unfinished tasks and ensure the school is ready to welcome learners very soon.

The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to all parents and volunteers. Your time, effort, and support are invaluable. Together, we build not just a better school, but a brighter future for every child. ♥️

BRIGADA ESKWELA
Day 2 - June 2, 2026

The spirit of teamwork remained strong as Brigada Eskwela at Bagumbayan Elementary School entered its second day. Parents, volunteers, and supporters came to the school, ready to work hand-in-hand to ensure the school is clean, safe, and beautiful for the opening of classes.

Groups of parents focused on different areas around the grounds. Some tended to the school gardens, pulling out w**ds and clearing dry leaves. Others climbed up to clean the roofs, sweeping away dirt, fallen branches, and debris that had gathered over time which prevent leaks and keeps the buildings in good condition. Some parents swept and scrubbed the pathways, making sure all walkways were clear, smooth, and safe for everyone to use.

Members of the Tau Gamma Phi also joined in, bringing their own tools to help. They worked on pruning tall trees and trimming overgrown branches making the grounds safer while giving the trees a neat, tidy look.

Inside the classrooms, teachers together with parents prepared the learning spaces. They cleaned every corner, arranged desks and chairs properly, and made the rooms warm and welcoming. They also spent time preparing their bulletin boards, learning materials, visual aids, and supplies, so everything is ready once pupils return.

By the end of the day, the improvements were clear to see.

The second day of activity showed once again that when everyone helps out, big tasks become easy. It stands as a beautiful reminder that education is truly a shared responsibility, and together, the community is building a better place for every child to learn.

BRIGADA ESKWELA
Day 1 - June 1, 2026

The spirit of bayanihan was alive as the annual Brigada Eskwela Kicked Off, bringing together educators, barangay officials and tanods, parents, and pupils in a collaboration to prepare the school grounds and facilities ready for the upcoming academic year.

Leading the activity were the school head and teachers who carefully planned and coordinated the weeklong activity ensuring the school is ready and safe for the opening of classes.

Barangay officials, tanods, and some parents arrived early armed with their grass cutters and bolos and led the trimming of tall and overgrown grasses and pruned branches from tall trees of the school's surrounding.

Meanwhile, group of parents and barangay officials pulled out overgrown w**ds from garden plots and pathways while others swept the surroundings.

Inside the classrooms, teachers, parents, and pupils worked hand in hand in cleaning, decluterring, and organizing chairs and learning materials

The first day of Brigada Eskwela proved once again that when every one works together even difficult and big tasks become manageable and light. It serves as a powerful reminder that education is not just the duty of the teachers but a shared responsibility of the entire community.
