The Education Development Services (EDS) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Provincial Scholarship Program under the 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄 for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The scholarship is 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝐬𝐭–𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who aspire to complete their studies with the support of the province.

𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
1. Application letter addressed to Hon. Santiago B. Cane, Jr. with signature of applicant
2. Application form (version 2026) duly filled out with one (1) 2x2 photo and pictures of all sides of the applicant’s permanent residence

3. Barangay certificate of residency indicating the number of years of residency (photocopy)
4. Certificate of Indigency with proof of income (photocopy)
Proof of income could be:
• Annual Income Tax Return (ITR) of one or both parents (if working)
• Employment Contract (if OFW)

5. Photocopy of Grade 12 report card (with complete grades from 1st to 2nd semester) if applicant is currently a senior high school graduate or Photocopy of Certificate of Grades of the previously enrolled semester if the applicant is currently a college student.

The report card or the certificate of grades must indicate the General Weighted Average (GWA) with minimum grade requirement of:
•For Indigenous Peoples applicants- at least 80%
• For Non-Indigenous Peoples & BS Nursing applicants- at least 85%
• For Persons with disability (PWD) applicants- at least 80%

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: All subject must not have failing grades, dropped or INC remarks

𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: not over 30 years old for PWD, and not over 18 years old for BS Nursing at the time of application.

𝐀𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
 INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
o Original copy of the certification from the Barangay and Municipal Tribal Chieftain that the applicant is full blooded IP

 PERSONS WITH DISABILITY (PWD)
o Original copy of Medical Certification from any government hospital or health care unit
o Certification from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO)
