Trento National High School extends its sincere gratitude to all of the expert resource speakers who generously shared their knowledge, experience, and expertise in the nine individual journalism events during the Journalism Training-Workshop for the 2026 School-Based Press Conference.

The valuable inputs have helped our student-journalists refine their skills and better prepare for the challenges of campus journalism. We deeply appreciate your time, dedication, and commitment to nurturing the next generation of journalists.

The month-long School-Based Press Conference 2026 will culminate on August 29, 2026, when the official TNHS participants to the Municipal Schools Press Conference will be announced.

The School Publication Office of Trento National High School will conduct a Journalism Training-Workshop for the next set of journalism categories on August 21, 2026 (Friday), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the School Publication Office and School Conference Hall.
The training-workshop will focus on the following:
- News Writing
- Editorial Writing
- Column Writing
- Editorial Cartooning
- Copyediting & Headline Writing
Experts, with real-world competition experiences, will serve as speakers of the training-workshop.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Participation is STRICTLY LIMITED to registered student-journalists officially listed for the aforementioned journalism categories. Only those registered participants are authorized to join the activity.

🎒 PARTICIPANTS ARE REMINDED TO BRING:
• Lunch and snacks
• Water in a reusable tumbler
• Notebook and pen
• Umbrella
• Required pencil and eraser (for cartoonists)
Participants are expected to come prepared, punctual, and ready to learn, write, observe, and sharpen their journalistic skills.

2026 SCHOOL-BASED PRESS CONFERENCE
- JOURNALISM TRAINING-WORKSHOP

The School Publication Office of Trento National High School will conduct a Journalism Training-Workshop on August 15, 2026 (Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the School Publication Office and SPJ Classrooms.

The training-workshop will focus on the following journalism categories:
📝 Feature Writing
🔬 Science-Technology Writing
🏀 Sports Writing
📸 Photojournalism
Winning coaches who are experts with real-world competition experience will serve as speakers of the training-workshop.
