A serious issue that often goes unrecognized is the impact of poverty on our teachers and children.

In order to truly help every student in our school, we must first understand the difficulties they face.

According to the 2018 report on The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), a sample of 15-year-old Filipino pupils placed 78th in math and science and last in reading comprehension out of 79 countries. This raises an issue where many Filipinos may have trouble with reading or basic math, which is probably a result of public schools.

According to a World Bank assessment, only 10% to 22% of pupils in some classes exhibit basic ability, while 80% of children are ignorant of what they should learn in school.

Despite the fact that over 3 million individuals enroll in higher education each year, only about 600,000 to 700,000 of them are able to graduate at the same time. The difference between registration and accomplishment is highlighted by this.
