IN PHOTOS | ARAL Summer Program 2026 Monitoring
Today, May 11, 2026, Maria Antonia P. Adao, School Principal of Hugo Perez Elementary School - Main, together with Armando C. Bayot, conducted a monitoring visit of the ARAL Summer Program 2026 to observe the implementation of reading and mathematics intervention activities.
The monitoring aimed to ensure that the program is being carried out effectively and that learners are actively engaged in meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences designed to strengthen their foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.
School Principal Ma’am Adao expressed her appreciation to the dedicated teacher-volunteers for their unwavering commitment and passion in helping learners improve their academic performance during the summer break. Likewise, Sir Armando Bayot commended the school for its organized implementation of the program and for providing a supportive learning environment for all participants.
The ARAL Summer Program reflects the Department of Education’s continued commitment to helping every learner succeed through focused interventions and collaborative efforts among school leaders, teachers, and the community.

HPES Main conducted the Summer ARAL Program Orientation for Parents, spearheaded by our School OIC, Mrs. Rizi B. Sigue together with Mr. Armando C. Bayot, who warmly welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of their active participation in their children’s learning journey.
In her message, Ma’am Rizi B. Sigue highlighted that the Summer ARAL Program is not just a seasonal initiative, but a purposeful intervention designed to bridge learning gaps and strengthen the foundational skills of our learners. She underscored the school’s commitment to providing quality, inclusive, and learner-centered opportunities, ensuring that no child is left behind. She also encouraged parents to partner closely with the school, as their guidance and support at home play a crucial role in the success of the program.
During the session, our 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 I Sir Armando C. Bayot, thoroughly explained the goals and expected impact of the Summer ARAL Program—highlighting its vital role in improving literacy and numeracy skills, boosting learners’ confidence, and preparing them for the upcoming school year.
