A new school year officially begins as the Hugo Perez Elementary School – Main community gathered for the First Flag Raising Ceremony and Opening of School Year 2026–2027, marking another chapter of learning, growth, and excellence for every Perezian learner.

The meaningful ceremony was proudly led by the Grade 6 Department, whose dedication and leadership set a positive and inspiring tone for the start of the academic year. Through the solemn flag-raising rites, the singing of the National Anthem, and the recitation of patriotic pledges, learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders were reminded of the values of unity, discipline, responsibility, and love for country.

One of the highlights of the program was the inspiring message delivered by **Ma’am Maria Antonia P. Adao, School Principal II**. In her address, she warmly welcomed all learners, teachers, and parents as they embark on another year of educational opportunities and challenges. She emphasized the importance of commitment, perseverance, respect, and collaboration in achieving the school's goals and ensuring quality education for all. Her message encouraged everyone to embrace the new school year with enthusiasm, positivity, and determination to succeed.

Hugo Perez Elementary School – Main successfully conducted its Parents Orientation for School Year 2026–2027, bringing together parents, guardians, teachers, and school officials in a productive and informative gathering aimed at strengthening partnership and collaboration for the benefit of our learners.

The orientation began with a discussion on the School Rules and Regulations led by Sir Arman, who emphasized the importance of discipline, responsibility, proper behavior, and adherence to school policies. Parents were reminded that fostering good values and positive habits at home greatly contributes to their children's success and well-being in school.

Updates on the School Calendar were then presented by Ma’am Rizi. She provided important information regarding school activities, examinations, holidays, school programs, and significant dates throughout the academic year. This enables parents to stay informed and actively support their children's participation in various school events and activities.

Meanwhile, Ma’am Dian discussed the Grading System, giving parents a clearer understanding of the assessment process, performance standards, and grading policies implemented by the Department of Education. Through this presentation, parents gained valuable insights on how learners' academic progress is monitored and evaluated throughout the school year.

An important topic on Child Protection Policy (CPP) and Anti-Bullying was thoroughly discussed by Ma’am Estrella. She highlighted the school's commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every learner is protected from all forms of abuse, discrimination, bullying, and harassment. Parents were encouraged to work closely with the school in promoting respect, kindness, and positive relationships among learners.

The orientation concluded with an open forum on Issues, Concerns, and Parent Engagement facilitated by our School Principal II, Ma’am Maria Antonia P. Adao. Parents were given the opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions, and share suggestions that can help improve school programs and services. Ma’am Adao emphasized the vital role of parents as partners in education and encouraged everyone to remain actively involved in their children's academic journey and school activities.

HUGO PEREZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – MAIN BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF AND OPENING PROGRAM

June 1, 2026 - With hearts united and hands ready to serve, Hugo Perez Elementary School – Main officially launched its Brigada Eskwela 2026 through a successful Kick-off and Opening Program that showcased the spirit of volunteerism, collaboration, and community partnership.

The activity commenced with a vibrant Motorcade Caravan participated in by the School Principal, dedicated teachers, Barangay Officials, parents, and various stakeholders. The caravan served as a symbol of our collective commitment to support the school and ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners as we prepare for the opening of classes.

Following the motorcade, the Opening Program was conducted under the leadership of our School Principal, Maria Antonia P. Adao, together with Mr. Armando C. Bayot and Barangay Education Committee Head Hon. Gina Amparo. The program highlighted the importance of unity among educators, parents, local government officials, private partners, and community members in achieving the goals of Brigada Eskwela.

Messages of support and encouragement emphasized that education is a shared responsibility and that every contribution—whether through time, effort, resources, or expertise—plays a vital role in enhancing the learning experience of our pupils. The gathering also served as an opportunity to recognize the unwavering support of our partners and stakeholders whose generosity and dedication continue to strengthen the school's programs and initiatives.

As we embark on this year's Brigada Eskwela, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, parents, barangay officials, community leaders, and stakeholders who joined us in this meaningful endeavor. Magpa-enrol na! Tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pagtanggap sa nagpapatala ng mga mag-aaral para sa Kinder to Grade 6, transferees, at sa lahat ng Balik-aral.

Sama-sama tayong maghanda at magsimula nang masaya!

Nakikiisa ang buong Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha o Feast of Sacrifice.

Nawa’y maghatid ang okasyong ito ng kapayapaan, kaligayahan, at kasaganaan sa bawat isa. Dalangin din natin ang ligtas at mapagpalang pagdiriwang para sa lahat. 🤍
