𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘!
On May 1, sacrifices are remembered, honored, and seen.
Before progress, there were workers who carried the weight. Before comfort, there were sacrifices made. Before success, there were silent struggles faced.
Today, we honor the strength that keeps our nation moving, the courage that stands for what is fair, and the labor that sometimes goes unseen but never unvalued.
With long hours, tired bodies, and pure dedication, a dedication that does not rest, even in the face of hardship.

'WE NEED JOURNALISM NOW MORE THAN EVER'
LOOK | In his awaited keynote address, GMA Network journalist Atom Araullo encouraged campus journalists to remain grounded in truth and to pursue stories that matter, even in the face of uncertainty.
He reflected on the realities of field reporting, citing his coverage of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), where journalists were confronted with both the urgency of storytelling and the weight of what he calls "slow journalism."
He also emphasized the responsibility of the press to bear witness, uphold accountability, and continue telling stories of vulnerable communities that might otherwise go unheard.

Ilang negosyo’y, napipilitang magsarado,

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 | 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵?

The day begins with hopeful stride,
A rising sun, the world wide.
Feet that move with plans in mind,
Chasing dreams they hope to find.
The roads are filled with lives in motion,
Small routines, quiet devotion.
Every ride, a step ahead,
Toward the paths their futures spread.
But whispers grow in crowded air,
Of rising fuel and higher fare.
Coins fall short in weary hands,
As costs outpace what life demands.
A boy turns back, his fare too small,
A woman pauses, choosing all,
Between the ride or food to keep,
Between the needs that run too deep.
The driver sighs behind the wheel,
Torn by what he has to feel.
To raise the fare or bear the loss,
Each choice weighed by a heavy cost.
Yet still they stand, they don’t give in,
Through tightened days and wearing thin.
They walk, they ride, they find a way,
To face another rising day.
For even when the burdens grow,
And hardships come they cannot slow,
The heart moves on, the will stays strong,
They keep on going, all along.
