‎The seminar became a safe avenue for awareness, learning, and empowerment among TMCC student, reminding everyone that every voice deserves to be heard, every individual deserves to be respected, and every space should be safe for all.

‎The program consisted of two meaningful sessions:

‎𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 — “𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” presented by Juanita A. Gatdula, JD, Vice President for Administration and member of the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI), who discussed the importance of recognizing and addressing gender-based sexual harassment in educational institutions.

‎ 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮 — “𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀" under the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313)”
‎Presented by Dr. Guillermo Alvarez, NSTP Instructor and CODI member, who explained the responsibilities, consequences, and protections under the law.
‎
‎The seminar also highlighted the vital role of the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) in receiving and investigating complaints related to sexual harassment and in promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment within the institution.

𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗣𝗨𝗣𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢

Sa bawat pag-angat ng lipunan ay naroon ang mga manggagawang patuloy na kumikilos at nagsasakripisyo upang maitaguyod ang disenteng kabuhayan, makatarungang sahod, at maayos na kalagayan sa paggawa.

Sila ang tunay na sandigan ng ekonomiya—ang lakas na nagpapaikot sa iba’t ibang sektor—ngunit sa kabila nito, sila rin ang kadalasang higit na naaapektuhan sa gitna ng mga suliranin at krisis. Sa araw-araw na pakikibaka, pasan nila ang bigat ng responsibilidad, hindi lamang para sa kanilang sarili kundi lalo na para sa kanilang mga pamilya.

Hindi matatawaran ang kanilang ambag, ngunit madalas ay hindi ito sapat na nabibigyan ng pagkilala at pagpapahalaga. Kaya’t mahalagang ilapit ang usapin ng paggawa sa sentro ng ating kamalayan—hindi bilang isang isyung isinasantabi, kundi bilang pundasyon ng tunay at inklusibong kaunlaran.

Sa kabila ng mga hamon, nananatiling matatag ang diwa ng mga manggagawang Pilipino—patuloy na lumalaban, umaasa, at nagsusumikap para sa mas maayos na bukas.

Pagpupugay sa mga manggagawang Pilipino, ngayong Araw ng Manggagawa at sa kanilang araw-araw na pakikibaka.

𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The 1st Regular Session of the Supreme Student Council was successfully convened on April 20, 2026, under the leadership of SSC President Andol, with seven (7) other officers in attendance.

During the session, the Council discussed and deliberated on the following key agendas:

▪ Duty scheduling of officers in consideration of flexible learning arrangements
▪ Updates on the SSC GAD Corner
▪ Financial updates and current fund standing
▪ Status of the water dispensers in both the Main and Annex campuses
▪ Proposed agendas for the 1st General Assembly
▪ Preparations for upcoming events

The session was formally adjourned at 10:20 PM on the same day. All agenda items were thoroughly discussed and addressed by the Council.

‎Sa gitna ng krisis na dulot ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina at mga pangunahing bilihin, nagkaroon ng pagbabago sa paraan ng pag-aaral, kabilang ang implementasyon ng online classes.
‎
‎Bilang tugon, ang 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗦𝗦𝗖) ay magbibigay ng libreng load assistance para sa mga 𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗔 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗢 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧 𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡. Kaugnay nito, mahalagang isabuhay ang “𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵”, isa sa pangunahing Core Values ng TMCC—na nangangahulugang pagiging tapat sa sarili at sa kapwa sa paghingi ng tulong.

‎Hinihikayat din ang lahat ng iskolar ng bayan na pairalin ang 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan upang masuportahan ang kapwa iskolar ng bayan nahihirapan sa online class setup upang maipagpatuloy pa rin ang edukasyon.

Classes will transition from face-to-face to hybrid learning. Approximately 70% to 80% of coursework will be conducted online or through asynchronous platforms.
Courses that require physical presence—such as Mathematics, laboratory classes, Physical Education (P.E.), and NSTP—will follow scheduled onsite sessions.

𝟮. 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Specific schedules and additional instructions will be released by the respective Departments and Deans. Students and faculty are advised to stay updated through official communication channels.

𝟯. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:

All online classes must strictly follow institutional policies and guidelines to ensure quality instruction and academic integrity.

𝟰. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆:

Everyone is encouraged to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme heat, and regularly monitor official announcements.

𝟱. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:

Appropriate monitoring and reporting mechanisms will be enforced to maintain effective class delivery and faculty accountability.

Walumpu’t apat na taon na ang nakalipas nang masaksihan ng lupa ng Bataan ang katapangan at sakripisyo ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano noong World War II.

Noong Abril 9, 1942, sumuko ang pinagsamang puwersa ng mga sundalo sa mga Hapon matapos ang matinding labanan sa Bataan—isang pangyayaring tinatawag na Fall of Bataan. Matapos nito, libo-libong bihag na sundalo ang pinilit maglakad nang mahigit 100 kilometro patungong Camp O'Donnell sa Tarlac, kung saan marami ang namatay dahil sa gutom, sakit, at kalupitan. Ang trahedyang ito ay kilala bilang Bataan Death March.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Trece Martires City College has released Memorandum No. 19, s. 2026, announcing the temporary suspension of the mandatory wearing of school uniforms for all students.

During this period, students may choose to wear either the prescribed uniform or appropriate civilian attire. Those who prefer to continue wearing their uniforms are allowed to do so, while others may opt for non-uniform clothing.

Students are reminded to observe proper dress standards and show respect for others, ensuring that their attire supports a conducive, professional, and respectful academic environment.

In pursuit of student welfare and a more responsive academic environment, the Supreme Student Council (SSC), in collaboration with the Council Presidents, formally submits a request to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs for the temporary suspension of the mandatory uniform policy.

Grounded on student consultations and collective feedback, the request highlights the challenges posed by high heat index conditions, particularly the discomfort caused by the current uniform fabric. The initiative seeks to prioritize students’ health, well-being, and academic engagement while upholding institutional discipline.

If approved, students will be given the flexibility to wear either the prescribed school uniform or appropriate civilian attire.
